Brnabic said that in the previous period excellent results were achieved in the development of political relations between the two countries, but also in economic cooperation, bearing in mind that the most important Indian companies are present in Serbia today.

She said she was particularly pleased with the arrival of the Indian company TAFE, which this year bought the Serbian factory for the manufacture of tractors IMT.

Chauhan said that Indian companies are very satisfied with the conditions for doing business on the Serbian market, which are crucial for the arrival more investors in Serbia.

She expressed satisfaction that cooperation in the field of agriculture, health, culture, education, IT sector, tourism and sports has been enhanced through joint work.

The Prime Minister pointed out that Serbia highly appreciates India's firm stand not to recognize Kosovo's unilaterally declared independence, adding that she is sure that Serbia will continue to have the support of this friendly country in preserving its sovereignty and national integrity.

The two officials agreed that the forthcoming visit of Vice President of India Venkaiah Naidu to Serbia in September this year would give a special impetus to the further development of our overall bilateral relations.
