Stefanovic at European Initiative Summit in Minsk

Stefanovic stressed that projects, such as the modernization of the railway from Belgrade to Budapest, which is important for Serbia, are of great benefit to the countries of Central Europe, and said the other topics included security, a more efficient control of migrants and measures taken by Serbia in this field.

"We discussed the measures that Serbia is taking in the fight against terrorism and extremism, especially now that, after the victory of allies in Syria and Iraq, a part of the jihadists can be expected to choose Europe as their next destination," he said.

According to Stefanovic, "our country in cooperation with other states is working intensively and with dedication on maintaining security."
