Brnabic "stressed that Siemens is important for Serbia and that together with the Serbian government it works on the implementation of important projects in the field of infrastructure and energy."

"In addition, Siemens is one of the examples of a socially responsible company that takes care of the community in which it operates. I expect to work together in the future in the field of digitization and innovation and continue talks on expanding the capacity of Siemens. I hope we will have new jobs, and the government will be there to support it," Brnabic said.

German Ambassador Axel Dittmann pointed out that Siemens was "an example of a great participation of German companies in Serbia, which employ more than 35,000 people and have invested EUR 1.8 billion since 2000."

Dittmann added that Siemens cooperates with the Serbian government and the relevant institutions in the processes of digitization, as well as in the introduction of dual education, and underlined that this company is an example of German support to the reform processes in Serbia.

General Manager of Siemens d.o.o. Beograd Udo Eichlinger "expressed his pleasure because of the anniversary, pointing out that the focus of this company is on promoting digitization and digital solutions," the Serbian government said on its website.
