They did, but the Albanians refused to take orders from foreigners and drew out any process that would benefit the few remaining Serbs. The West didn't press too hard either. They get bored very quickly once the fighting stops.

That's strange, smart guy, Ari Gold aka sj says only the Albanian parts of Kosova were hit with depleted uranium warhead bombs. Perhaps the symptoms the Serbs are exhibiting are psychologically sympathetic. Ari should know since he is an expert on all things related to Kosova, though he has never been there.

Sometimes I feel sorry for the Albanian people in your province.
They are so easily manipulated and indoctrinated.
They belive their politician "war heroes" will do them good when the only thing those politicians do is spit on the people.
They believe US is supporting them and "their cause", when US is ONLY interrested to have a spy base in the south-east corner of Europe. Its a game but the Albanians do not realize that. US is very keen to have support of the Albanians because they are " useful idiots" like a US diplomat put it.
They believe that they are people of something they call Ilyrians, Dardanians etc. This road is closed long time ago with dna among other things. [link]/
They think Kosovo will be an own state. Well, that road is also closed due to UNSC. Recognitions have come to a dead end.
They think they will be members of EU. Sorry, road closed due to EU does not recognize Kosovo as a state. EU works on Unscr 1244.
They think the will be member of this and this but no luck.
The best Kosovo could do is get rid of their corrupt politicians (some will go away for a very long time thanks to Special court), get autonomy with Serbia to get investments, much higher salaries ang higher standards of living.
If the DONT DO this, well we will be in the same catch 22 in twenty years. Stay tuned.
