Thaci-Haradinaj coalition wins most votes in Kosovo election

Based on 60 percent of counted ballots, 35.9 percent of votes in Sunday's early parliamentary election in Kosovo went to the Thaci-Haradinaj led coalition.

Thaci-Haradinaj coalition wins most votes in Kosovo election

They are followed by another coalition, made up of the Democratic Alliance of Kosovo, the New Kosovo Alliance, and the Alternative Initiative with 24.8 percent, while Self-Determination has won 23.52 percent of votes.

According to Tanjug, the Serb (Srpska) List has finished fourth with 4.8 percent, taking all ten seats guaranteed to the Serb community in the 120-seat Assembly in Pristina.

The turnout was 41.45 percent out of the 1,872,951 eligible voters.

The election was followed by about 30,000 domestic and international observers.
