Nikolić also said that relations between Serbia and Serbs in the diaspora weakened over the past decades due to negative moves of the government.
I would say that the relations between Serbia and Serbs in the diaspora weakened after WWII, when non-communists ran for their lives from Yugoslavia - and then post commie era from the crooked political mafia in Serbia, that raped Serbia of everything that got their hands on - which you were a major part of, Mr. Nikolic. Serbia must clean itself up from the inside, not the outside. The diaspora did not tarnish Serbia's image, but the people that ran/run it. A good place to start would be your resignation, Mr. Toma Diploma. What did you expect, when you even lied about something like your education?

In Australia Croats were unbelievably generous to the point they sold assets such as homes to fund a separate Croatia with the proceeds stolen by Tudjman and his cronies – in one instance the Croat that collected that money ended up with a string of service stations and a couple of hotels. Then there was the case of a ship load of Merino sheep being sent to Croatia as a gift so that Croat farmers could start wool production as well as supply Croatia with meat. What happened was so hilarious. The Croat farmers never saw a lamb and all the sheep went to a good home on the spit in Zagreb.

Moral of the story is a fool and his money is easily parted. I’m not sure what you’re stroking but your getting more and more incoherent.

Lenard, it's your lot who is doing a lot of damage to their people not us. I know you would love us to do something stupid to trash our image but we are too classy for that.
Check out what your lot is doing to spread good cheer overseas.

BTW, I keep saying that we are not insulted when you call us Chetniks. Chetniks march every year with Aussies on Anzac day. Chetniks have a good image here unlike Croats who are NOT allowed to march. When you still hold onto you Nazi nature and display it so proudly it's no wonder.

Ari, very true. Danilo even tried to run us off this site by saying we have no right to get involved, while all the time approves of all the Albanian and Croatian comments.
He is a very nasty piece of work but he has absolutely no power.

Yes, diaspora is very important to Serbia so it makes sense that these haters want us not to care.

"Nikolić also said that relations between Serbia and Serbs in the diaspora weakened over the past decades due to negative moves of the government."

Many of the Diaspora are descendants of anti-communist Serbs who fled persecution and execution following WWII, and began new lives in countries with democracy and rule of law. Only when Serbia returns ALL properties seized from these families and commits to upholding basic human rights, will the Diaspora even think to invest in Serbia, the country, and not just send money back to their families. Minister Dinkic's recent reversal of two restitution decisions for the confiscated Hotel Beograd and Hotel Splendid - determined by the Agency for Restitution - shows the ill-intent of the Ministry of Finance, which has changed nothing from the past ten years of theft and looting, and therefore cannot be trusted.

Very true. Unity in the Serbian diaspora would be a huge asset to the country if it were ran by competent people in Belgrade which is far from the case. People like Danilo will come on here and ridicule the diaspora Serbs despite the fact that they collectively are in the top 3 of most generous diaspora's in the entire world
