How to punish criminality in Serbia?

Retrospectively consider their illegal actions legal and reward them...

The people who built these properties illegally should be fined and punished - not rewarded with a legal status that allows them to sell them for profit.

The police and local authorities who turned a blind-eye to the existance of these properties should be fined and punished for either doing nothing or, worse still, taking kick-backs to do nothing.

The properties should be either demolished or confiscated by the state and then sold on with the proceeds of the sale going to the state for investment in the country. (Of course, this just gives an opportunity for somebody else in givernment to steal it, but...)

Welcome to Serbia.

Welcome to the land of full respect for the rule of law.

According to Ilic, there are around 1.3 million facilities which were built without construction or usage permits. That is a lot then again when you have to shell out money for permits inspectors grafts loans then on top of that taxed and taxed. People are opting for the cheap way and no hoops to chump threw you can finally afford to have something. Now they are allowing the places to be registered in the tax books not a good deal if you don't pay the taxes they steal it from you and sell it. I think they call it legal sanctioned thievery by self serving politicians and bureaucratic system. A make work projects for the lazy bums that produce nothing of value even a determent to the hard working people.
