"No date means EU doesn't want Serbia yet"

Presidential advisor Oliver Antić says the EU, "if it wants Serbia as its part", should pressure Priština as well to make concessions in the Kosovo talks.

I agree with Rocky, let Kosovo join the EU so Germany and France can deal with the flood of unemployed labourers crashing the labour markets and return Kosovo to a more equal ethnic balance. Then perhaps refugees can return to their homes without being burned out of them and children can go to school without fear of Molotov cocktails or roaming gangs of youths with nothing better to do than beat lone Serbs.

The EU, should focus on expediting Kosova's EU membership bid! If this policy was adopted In 2008, there would have been a lot more progress made, once Kosova is made a part of the EU, then the focus could have turned toward Serbia! Serbia then, would have made greater strides in accepting a independent Kosova, or she simply would be left out of the EU! It is inevitable, that Kosova will indeed join the EU as a independent country in the future, without Serbia! And if Serbia is made a EU member? It will be without Kosova, as part of Serbia! Let their be now doubt, Kosova will never allow herself to be part of Serbia again , or Serbia's system! This goes for the Kosova in its entirety! Unless, an agreement can be made on the exchange of Mitrovica for the Presevo valley, the Serbs of Mitrovica get what they want, Serbian governance, and the Albanians of Presevo get what they want, Kosovar governance! It's only fair to the people of both regions!!!

"...gov't decided..."

yes, i read this kind of here quite often. serbs elected this government in power, knowing that this gov. would pursue EU membership. so it seems Ari Gold that Serbian people want it. if you don't want the EU vote for those who don't want it either.

It's up to the EU not Serbia? I wasn't aware that the EU was wanting to be a part of Serbia! Their club, their rules. If you think their conditions are not fair, don't join. Simple as that

Actually I agree. A lot of things would be simplified for Serbia and its national interests if its treasonous gov't decided it was not interested in pursuing EU membership. Just as an Albanian, pray that doesn't happen because you wont be able to get any concessions out of Serbia if that's the case.
