Dose you know robert that Kosovo is an independent country and that it can theoretically kick out EULEX or whatever country operating in the country. And do you know that EULEX is ivited by Kosov goverment and the invitation is to be renewed every time their mandate runs out.
And i susgest that even serbia invites EULEX runing serbia also and many other balkan countries.
Thaqi should be charged with treason! He is stepping on the 10,000 graves that freed Kosova. Why is Thaqi negotiating with serbia to begin with? No one says we have to, they all tell sebia to remove the illegal parallel structures in the north. Everyone in EU knows Kosova gave enough to free Kosova.
If Hash is saying they won't have executive authority, then you know they will and he's gearing up his constituents for a disappointment. But not to worry. The international community will give these municipalities rights and privileges only within those municipalities so no worry about veto powers like RS, and they'll be operational within a loose framework of Kosovo's "law and order", whatever that is since it doesn't seem to work even in those Albanian areas. The deal has already been made with the decision to recognize a Serbian assembly. It will be a collection of autonomous communities coordinating with each other and Belgrade and under the auspices of EULEX. When he means no executive authority, he thinks no executive authority over Pristina. No one suggested that. Besides Pristina already has to worry about executive authority of EULEX so they certainly don't need another thing to worry about :)
Thaci has never been asked to make a comprimise, after years of talks he has not had to push his position back. I don't know if he can, and I don't know if his base would let him. If he can't, Serbia should not continue in the talks.
It might be unwise to suspend the existing agreements, but Serbia should consider that if the attacks against Serbs continue. the attacks against Serbs can easily be stopped and the truth is they are not in the Albanian long term interest because it does not make Kosovo look like a stable law and order sort of place.
