"Thaci taught his pale Dhaciq some tactics when dealing with crimes committed in the past."
(Ari Gold, 3 February 2013 17:02)

Thaci didn't tell him that it is better to be the boss of your own drug mafia than to meet with some drug mafia members?

Dačić is compromised. He has had unexplained contact with a major local criminal. The Serbian public may know about this, but we can be sure that NATO knows all about it.

Dačić’s apparent wiliness to allow NATO-occupied Kosovo to have recognized borders and a UN seat may be due to NATO blackmail. Maybe the Americans are holding Saric in Camp Bondsteel?

Dačić can’t be trusted to act in the best interest of Serbia and should be removed from office.

Well of course Dacic would publicly state that SNS aren't responsible. Why would he start an open war with the party that's looking for any possible reason to call new elections, so as to install their own leader as PM? The only hope Dacic has of survival is to keep up the appearance of stability in the ruling coalition, so he's not going to openly spar with Vucic. Rather, he'll try to redirect the blame to the opposition, who are already being built up by SNS as the principal villains in Serbian politics. So basically, the SNS are hard at work at making all the other parties look bad so that they look good in comparison, thereby carving out for themselves a dominant position in parliament that gives them all the top cards. And from what the latest polls show, their strategy seems to be working. Viewing all this from outside Serbia, I'm left thinking that a large percentage of Serbian voters are in the midst of being scammed big time. It's like Milosevic all over again...

Why does this sentence and the wording "smear campaign" remind me of what Thaci said when confronted with his alleged involvement into the organ harvesting scandal?

It is sure that SNS is not behind such a dirty campaign against the entire government including SNS themselves! It is a real shame what kind of cheap tricks that current, which is trying to overthrow the government, uses. They are making parade of whole country! Unfortunately, people in Serbia can't stay immune on that strong influence of media and that is going to affect the results of upcoming elections if they happen. I am sure that DS is standing behind all this dirty game. They can't leave this people alone...

Politicians standard defense is "smear campaign". How could anyone suspect that Dacic, or his socialist party, could ever have been involved in something "unsavory"? He himself aditted talking to Radulovic, Saric's close associate, about what he wouldn't say, not knowing Radulovic's background, even though Dacic headed MUP and the police. OK, I gues he's right, people should not ever question him, and follow him blindly. It must be a smear campaign of the worst kind, aimed at unstabilizing the government, and destroying the integrity of Mr. Dacic. I am shaking my head left to right.
