Opposition party proclamation: Serbia is under threat
The Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) has published a paid proclamation entitled "Serbia Under Threat," which was signed by more than 260 public figures.
I find it very interesting that not a word from Jovanovic or Tadic about any of this.
Jovanovic, especially, always has something to say but it seem not this time.
If I may quote a very emotive passage from this most just proclamation, "Our national tradition, economic development, frail democracy, the rule of law and last but not least, the moral integrity and self-respect of the nation are in jeopardy,". Indeed it is so. It remains to be seen what else is in store for my Serbian brothers and sisters. I sincerely hope Serbia will not experience the same fate as my people THE Greeks. However, there is no doubt in my mind, we Greeks will, as in the past, stand by Serbia. Those who may be under the illusion that Greeks and Serbs will yield to such flagrant injustice and bias towards on our Nations, appear to disregard the lessons of history. "Heroes fight like Greeks", to quote former British PM Sir Winston Churchill. Yes indeed this may be so, but in all humility and sincerity, I would like to extend this quote to " Heroes fight like Greeks and Serbs".

during War I and War II.Now the "descendants" who
live in Croatia, Albania and
Bosnia are getting revenge
on Serbia for the defeats.
Also, Serbia has been maki-
ng amends for its own mi-
stake while establishing Ki-
ngdom Jugoslavia. Bad luck
German does not like to see Serbia being an EU me-
mber at all.
