"Hague ruling makes reconciliation difficult"

How to achieve a reconciliation between nations when only a members of one nation are convicted. It is not possible that only a members of one nation committed crimes. This time I agree with the President of Serbia. Its simply not fair, and it will make a big problems for the mutual progression and forgiving.

Serbia has not cut ties with the Hague so there is no opposition to his ruling. Dacic and nikolic will be in Zagreb within the month celebrating the croation generals release

'Reconciliation' was already difficult with genocide denier, former ultra-nationalist and Greater Serbian fanatic Tomislav Nikolic making silly nationalist comments all the time, such as making claims that Vukovar is a Serbian city.

He is just scapegoating the ICTY for his own doings.

He can't face the fact that Croatian-Serbs were evacuated in 1995 and is therefore angy that the two have been aquitted by the ICTY. Well many many many more Serbs have been aquitted/ had their Indictment withdrawn compared to Croats, Bosniaks and Kosovans; yet this nationalist President accuses the ICTY of being biased and anti-Serb!

This guy has the mentality that if something isn't pro-Serb, then it must be Anti-Serb for some reason. This is why there is problems with reconciliation, due to this silly nationalist mentality which the Serbian elite have!

The ICTY was never about reconciliation. It was secretly investigating Izetbegovic for war crimes and after his death publicly announced this. Then it said it would seal all documents from investigation forever. How does covering up evidence of war crimes by one of the conflicts largest players help reconciliation? It keeps the myth alive that Izetbegovic was the Last Yugoslav, or as other fools put it, believed in multi-culturalism and not a Bosnia dominated by the SDA as the first Moslem state in Europe, Serbs, Croats and others making up the Potemkin Village fairy tale for western suckers.

The ICTY was and is about principally blaming the Serbs for everything that happened with a thin veneer of legal legitimacy. I'm so glad the Americans blew this out of the water to protect themselves from prosecution for complicity in war crimes, I.e. the class action suit against L3, who bought MPRI, ver likely a CIA front company and the American architects of operations storm and flash, from being directly linked. Gotovina dutifully kept his mouth shut on help from the U.S., under the watchful eye of his attorney Greg Kehoe, who has done previous sterling work for the U.S. government in protecting their Iraqi friends. More pitiful are the Germans, who with their record, have been let off Scott free to pretend they had nothing to do with it. Pigs in ****all together.

the election of this idiot puts any reconciliation of the peoples of the former yugoslavia at risk. not the decision to release the croatian generals.

Croats living in France have accused folk legend Bob Dylan of racism.

The Representatives of the Council of Croats in France (CRICCF) said the artist’s comments in the French edition of Rolling Stone magazine in which he compared Croats to Nazis and the Ku Klux Klan was "deeply offensive".

"He was propagating hate against Croatian people", Vlatko Maric, secretaty of the CRICCF told daily newspaper Vecernji List.

The American singer had told Rolling Stone magazine in an interview about the roots of racism: "Black people can sense Ku Klux Klan blood, Jews can sense Nazi blood and Serbs can sense Croat blood".
