We all knew that Hague was a sham from the very beginning. It seems that only the Serbian elite did not know this and went along with it.
Now if lay people like ourselves knew this was a kangaroo court and kept protesting against extradition of Serbs to Hague, how come the people supposedly in the know did not know this?
Tadic has a lot to answer for and he should be publicly flogged like a common criminal in the city square.
Present government had a duty of care to protest and denounce Hague along with EU at that time too but they didn't. They have Serbian blood on their hands too.
I am just disgusted at the lot of them. Look at them now denouncing Hague. Pathetic creatures the lot of them.
Where were they when it counted?
You have all recognised Hague as a legitimate court by sending our people there so now you have backed the whole Serbia into a corner.

Who knows, maybe the Hague will release their Serbian hero counterparts Mladic and Karadzic? These four people are all of the same kind and deserver the same treatment.

Well, well, well what a surprise.
Decisions made of late and the impending decisions due will satisfy a large part of the Balkans.
Sadly these will end up justifying alterations of history, and placing certain ‘heroes’ on podiums.
Is the Hague being manipulated? It certainly begs the question as to how and whom.
Serbia, as a colleague once stated, failed miserably in the public relations department from the very start. Having said that, who would have predicted back in 88/89 that so many external forces would combine to oversee the dissolution of Jugoslavija?
Serbia’s association with the more unpleasant aspects of the ensuing (civil) wars is well documented and well known. Even Serbia and Serbians themselves have acknowledged such.
Therefore, recent decisions (and those of past) from the hallowed courts of the Hague do nothing but drive a wedge deeper and deeper between Serbia and the rest.
All those trumpeting the exoneration of/and justification of individuals and a nations acts during those dark times ought to take a step back and think about the long term.
It beggars belief that one race of people (split by empire and religion) could have so much hatred and animosity towards each other.
Croatia, Bosnia and Kosovo Albanians are all just as guilty of the most appalling crimes and deeds. Just because a selected court with ambiguous rulings finds in your favour does not discharge you of your actions.

The biggest crime is that we serbs handed over our own heroes Mladic, Karadic and many others to this American institution called the Hague tribunural. Tadic and his followers are the ones to blame and they are the ones who should be put in jail. For those who need a reason not to join the EU, this verdict should be more then enough. I just wonder how long we serbs are going to allow the west to push us around?

Scandalous is a complete understatement!
However this verdict is hardly a surprise.
Is common knowledge that the Hague is a total mockery of justice and is nothing more than a US sponsored kangaroo court designed to justify and legitimize NATO war crimes throughout the world!

How else can you explain or justify the fact that despite committing some of the most heinous crimes in human history, the US and her allies are totally immune from any kind of prosecution?!

But of course, none of these obvious and glaring facts will ever be mentioned in the media

Dragan

pre 13 godina

Just as I expected, the Hague, which is run by NATO war criminals, could not convict their partners in crime to expose themselves - since they were the ones arming, organizing, and training these minions. No real surprise here, these are show trials, and this is and has always been a political kangaroo court meant to turn the victims into war criminals and the actual war criminals into innocents.
I've always said that no Serb should recognize this abomination, and to send Serbian citizens to their deaths in those chambers is a criminal act that Tadic and his quislings should get prosecuted for. Maybe, just maybe, some of those neo-liberal know nothings in Belgrade will finaly wake up now.

In some cases Serbia had not the dignity to "solve" some cases internal, quiet and finishing. So Serbia has decided to produce a neverending propaganda-show. The problem is not the tribunal -everybody knew hwat are the intensions there- the problem is the failed policy in Belgrade, the neverending problem with its not existing dignity. And its for sure hat Serbia after some comments from the tribunal, also in future to follow all tribunal demands, it will do so like in the past. This ruling has changed the whole situation in the region.
It has been made clear that there was no joint criminal enteprise,
it has been made clear that there was no systimatic murders ( like in Vukovar) and
it has been made clear the Croatia never ethnically cleansed serbians from Croatia; and most importantly
it is obvious that the serbian authorities can not try to re-write history which depictes them as the victims
of a brutal war;

They have the right to return to Croatia, but they choose not to. The odd thing is, when they went to Serbia they were considered as illegal immigrants by Milosevic and many were denied the right to live in Serbia, he tried to change the demographics of Kosovo by sending them there instead.
