How will Tabakovic stop the decline of the dinar by the way? And considering economics is an inexact science how are you so certain that she will?

"The citizens of Serbia expect the new government and this here lady, who is the future governor, to halt the rise of the euro," Marković was quoted as saying "while pointing at Tabaković".
She will "halt the rise of the euro"? I didn't know that Serbia was in a position to "halt the rise of the euro".

A great choice for a completelly new monetary policy that may repair the damages done in the last twenty years. The top position in the Serbian national bank will be taken by a proven expert and academic, a clear break with the previous tradition of the Socialists in the nineties and the Democrats in the last decade.

Appointing Ms. Tabakovic as new Governor of central Bank of Serbia would be one of the smartest moves by New Government. She is very capable woman with know-how and authority among leading economists in the country. During Soskic's mandate dinar went from 100 to almost 120 dinars for one Euro. This lady knows how to stop that.

Yeah great idea SNS - let us make the National Bank Governor and their deputies political appointees beholden to politicians from the governing party. And lets change the law to ensure that governors in the future are all elected on the basis of whether they belong to ruling political parties.
All just because they can't find Tabakovic a job, which is because SNS gave the economic portfolios to G17...
