seems like every merely educated albanian calls himself an analyst these days...

what made me smile: when he writes about Serbia treating northern KiM "as if it were Serbia".

what a funnily stupid Albanian, though. =)

indefinite = broad, confused, doubtful, dubious, equivocal, evasive, general, ill-defined, imprecise, indeterminable, indeterminate, indistinct, inexact, inexhaustible, infinite, innumerable, intangible, loose, obscure, shadowy, uncertain, unclear, undefined, undependable, undetermined, unfixed, unknown, unlimited, unsettled, unspecific, unsure, wide

This "indefinite future" was clearly defined, meaning ended when the UN decided that it would give Ahtisari the power to decide when to end the status quo, which he did, when he gave his plan. So we no longer have "indefinite future" when it comes to status. This is a sure thing. Serbia didn't have the guts to argue this in the ICJ. They never disputed this.

The rest depends where you stand is. If you're spiteful then you're a Serb angry at the changing world.

Maliqi= Malic Albanized Serb should quit hating on his own people and get a reality check!!! Kosovo is Serbia's territory!!!

Actually UNSCR 1244 said it is territory of FR Yugoslavia for the INDEFINITE future aka by no means a permanent guarantee.

Indefinite = no end in sight. Try reading the resolution.

Maliqi said that the situation in the north was "complex" - "because the implementation of Ahtisaari's plan has not started yet, and also because Serbia supports parallel structures, as if this is Serbia's territory and Serbian institutions".

LOL someone needs to give this guy a reality check. It IS Serbian territory, and those so-called "parallel institutions" ARE the legitimately recognized and only functioning institutions there. Amazing how these people still like to play make believe.

That's right, Kosovar Albanians are talking the talk.

Too bad no one has bothered to listen since 1999. If so, your brothers in Kosovo wouldn't have had to choke down the Ahtisaari Plan which basically neuters their sovereignty in exchange for some semblance of independence. Shout whatever you want and demand whatever you want. The international community has shaped and will shape Kosovo's future and it ain't what you envisioned :)

Ironically, it IS Serbian territory according to UN1244 :)

"cheers to my Kosovar Albanian brothers from Albania."

Eagle

You are exactley right Eagle. Kosovo albanains are from Albania and they need to go back to Albania. Only then will there be peace in the balkans.

That's right, Kosovar Albanians are talking the talk. Those agreements have to be implemented before any further agreements are made. Kosovar Albanians are way ahead of their game compared to Serbs from Serbia.

cheers to my Kosovar Albanian brothers from Albania.
