As the EU becomes more and more reliant on Russian energy, it does not take a genius to work out who will control the EU.

Yes, the EU member states from which Russia needs the money for the oil it provides

The Russians were never opposed to Serbia joining the EU. Its objections were about NATO.

A ridicolous article... the problems for Serbia are not in Moscow who has probably only to gain by Serbia's EU membership...the problems are all above the Alps where stand countries that are searching all the excuses for kick in the ass any future enlargement..

God knows what this fuss is all about ! As if there’s no other problem for Serbia but entering the most expensive club. Serbia has no money to afford such a membership. Serbia has border problems barring such a membership. Serbia has no population to endorse such a membership. Before these problems are solved any discussions about what the Russians think look as strange and surrealistic as dividing land on Venus. Let’s talk of something more definite than someone’s excited imagination !

Cheers !

Its precisely bc we'd be an extension of Russia that the Saudi-Emirati puppets in Brussels don't want us in the EU but we must not let our nominal neutrality & EU ambitions stop us from joining the CSTO
