Dutch still hesitant about supporting Serbia’s candidacy

Although cooperation with The Hague was one of the main obstacles on Serbia’s EU path, it is still unknown whether the Dutch will support Serbia’s EU candidacy.

Kaaskop,
Do you know why Dutch people wear wooden shoes? To keep the woodpeckers off their heads. :)
But seriously, thanks for keeping Serbia out of the EU, you are doing her a huge favour.
Cheers!

Kaaskop- keep your money. Serbs wont be flooding the EU like Albanians, Romanians and Bulgarians, They could never leave their mother.

It is laughable to see the Netherlands playing the tough guy at anything. Seems they have been chosen by the Yanks to play the "nasty guy" in the "lets con Serbia into joining the sinking ship EU" farce. They should stick to what they do best, i.e. wearing blue helmets, cultivating tulips, over producing bland cheese and driving slowly on the highway.

"This little country wields more power than 5 EU member countries(combined) that have not recognized Kosova. Just the name DUTCH,means alot.
(Agim Kelmendi, 5 June 2011 11:06):

Can you clarify how Holland has "more power" than the 5 that had not recognized Pristina "combined"? If you can do so logically, that is. What's so terribly omnipotent about that word "Dutch"? Thanks in advance.

Serbia doesn't belong in the EU just as much as Turkey doesn't belong in the EU. More then 20% unemployment, crime gangs that rule the country and no decent market. Do I need to go on? No way my tax money goes to Serbia. Regards from Holland.

The Dutch are too busy smoking weed to have a clear grasp of reality.
Probably due to the large supplies from their albanian friends.
We will have to wait for all that smoke to clear before they have any idea on what is actually going on.

Since when did that little country under the sea wield so much power over Europe? The Netherlands is almost like Kosovo except drugs and prostitution are legal :) Something we should all work towards i guess.

wither Tadic at the next Serbian elections -- anyone can tell me when will it be by the way? Thanks in advance.

I think it should be clear to all Serbians by now that the EU is just not into expanding further and is merely dangling false carrots to extract ever more concessions from Serbia before their game is up. And who knows, by the time any new member is deemed "ready enough" to enter (aka thoroughly programmed into a robotic slave), the EU itself may no longer exist!

However, in case you don't understand the Dutch's decision, feel free to ask.

Cheers!

I fully understand and support it. Serbia is a nice country and hope it won't join the EU. It deserves a better fate. There is nothing Hungary gained from EU, why Serbia would?

...my next vacation is in Hague.
(Ataman, 4 June 2011 14:45)

Why not? Some facilities there are specialized in accommodating Serbs. Non-stop flight from Belgrade included. They even have Serbian satellite TV.

However, in case you don't understand the Dutch's decision, feel free to ask.

Cheers!
