Jerko, in Serbian Vojvodina and Tamises Banat there was never anything but a fewer Croats. You were privileged in former Titos Yugoslavia. They had saying Weak Serbia-strong Yugoslavia. One more thing Ustasa wanted free from serbian population and greater Croatia. Same story with Franjo.

Let me guess 4/5 of croatia is probably serbia's rightful homeland right.....

If you go by that credo Vojvodina should be hrvastka, Use to be large croats there and like 70% of bosnia....

Well is it wrong to speak the truth, yes during NDH croatia, many croats were part of the Ustasa regime...

Being Ustasa back then wasnt all about destroying yugo, it was about a free croatia, plain and simple, you think we liked living in Yugoslavia, as second class citizens.

Under nazi influence bad things happened. But its not like you guys didnt do the same ala Bleiburg 1945 and the war in the 90's so dont talk to us about neo-nazi when the chetniks fully collaborated with the ustase and the SS..

Mesic has more partizani ancestry than anything, remember the partizani were started in split, dalmatia so get your facts straight....

I wasnt going to respond to such a comment but why let it slide.First, yes the ustashe were for an independent croatia, but were also for converting a third ,exterminating a third, and ethnically cleansing from their ancestoral homes SERBS.
Secondly the Cetniks had no collaborative pact with the germans or ustashe what so ever. The fact that small vagabond groups allied themselves is a given. Its funny how the croations try to make the cetniks collaborators but their are to many witnesses and material written quite to the opposite such as the great new book "the forgotten 500".God bless Serbia and the Cetniks.

Internal borders of Yugoslavia were drawn in a way that as much as possible no ethnicity would have a large state.
unheared theory so far.

Thus,

Serbs were divided in Bosnia and part in Croatia.

South Metohija(northern albania), Macedonia, Montenegro.

Croats part in Bosnia.
Albanians, in Kosova, part in Macedonia, part in Montenegro and part in south-Serbia.
Albanians moved to south-east Serbia 1960s and 1970s

Bosnians part in Montenegro part in Serbia (Sandzak).

Now if Serbia wants to reunite her own people in her own state for me that's fine.
But it should not steal others land and people.
If you want R. Srpska form Bosnia- you should give back Sandzak.
To give back old Rascia? Bosnia was never in control over old Rascia in history. So, we cant give back something that was never their.
If you want north-Kosova- you should give back Presheva, Medvega, Bujanovac.
It was never part of Kosmet
Or behave as Croats and Albanians.
Croats: OK to unitarian Bosnia.
Albanians: OK to unitarian Macedonia and Montenegro.
And finally BUT not for IMPORTANCE.
You forgot to mention unitarian Serbia, but we are not for unitarity whatever, prof is that we want to give to albanians more than autonomy.
Both of these nations Croats and Albanians do not need the ethnic cleansing in order to take her land and people in Bosnia or Serbia-Macedonia-MN respectively.
Actuallythey have a long history of etnic cleansing that dates back to medieval period.
Both of them live in compact territory and are the absolute majority there.
After they reduced a graet number of Serbs who lived there.
Serbs for their life style do not live in a compact territory thus NEED desperately to clean ethnically the land that they want- steal.
Because they were not etnicly cleansing minorities. That is a reason why Serbia has 40 percent of non-serbs and what abou Kosmet, Croatia, Albania?

Finally as for Bosnia: it should make an offer of giving up R. Srpska and demand back the eastern Bosnia where the genocide on the innocent Bosnian population occurred (that is Srebrenica/Foca) and of course SANDZAK.
Albanian paramilitarz was also etnicly cleansing Serbs that lived in Bosnia, Croatia(Sanke, haradinaj)

With it Bosnia will border with two friendly nations: Croats in west and Albanians in south. Otherwise as I have already said Bosnia will remain hostage of Serbia.

Maybe you can make peace between Palestinians and Israelis real? Yes, he is that Man!

Is Mesic under the impression that making such comments might get Croatia into the EU more quickly? If they cleaned up their criminals like Serbia is doing then that would help much more as it is Croatia's outstanding issue, along with the treatment of 'minorities'...

Everybody including Holbrooke's ulcer knows, that with God,*PUTINMAN*and Serbia will decide what RS's fate will be in the near future. And I assume you know then what will happen to the other half. Mr. Mesic, no more "deda hoce baba nece didu-lidu-di"when it comes to Bosnia. My suggestion to you Sir, is to buy some kikiriki and lebleblije, kick back, and enjoy the *PUTINMAN* SHOW.After all, he is our newest neighbor forever or for long as it need be.Remember not to forget that it was "your" famous "tennis match" that brought Al-Qaida and the Crusaders in former Yu,and along with them a great possibility for East/West showdown on our soil.If that showdown should ever happen, how fast do you think you could swim and KA's run??? People, learn to forgive and love one another and settle your differences in a Just manner and don't count on NATO too much.NATO is too bussy at school, they are learning the same lesson that He taught the US in Vietnam and Napoleon in Russia: No matter how much your army numbers, no matter how many or how fancy and shinny your weapons are,no matter how much gold and time you have, and no matter which general leads you to battle---you will never subjugate and enslave those that God wills to be free.

>>Mesić added that "it's a paradox" that the (former) leaders of Bosnia's Serbs are on trial at the Hague Tribunal, “while Dodik continues to carry out their policy in the RS”.

“The international community is obligated to prevent anyone from carrying out a policy that breaks up Bosnia-Herzegovina,” he was quoted as saying by the newspaper.>>

Wow -- the "serbian patriots" are out in force 2day. "Kosovo" is our province; Bosnia is a "fake state"; Mesic is a commie... all the great tenets of the faith. what else is missing from the menu?

well, Kosovo/a ain't yr little colony any more, not since 1999. period. the past. and bosnia is no more "fake" than yr beloved country. its history goes back 100s of years, and a great, if tortured, history it is. who the he-- are you to say who is a fake country and who ain't?!

as for mesic, he ain't no commie (they were all so-called commies, once upon a time, or they were in jail, or both.) the past is the past.

mesic is one of the authentic democratic voices in the region, so wake up -- and he's not afraid to say what's on his mind (nor am I.) and he has every right. they've recognized indpndt Kosovo/a, as has every (normal) country in the region, and over 60!! all together round the world. many others will follow, thank you very much, when this minor little roadblock is pushed aside.

but returning to the main point: how is it that SOME of the main war criminals who were so intent upon destroying my beloved Bosnia (and mass murdering its people, regardless of ethnicity)are at the hague's docks (or still coddled by the belgrade regime but wanted by the hague) while dodik and company are allowed to blatantly destroy that country? anywhere else, it would be called treason, and he called to task. yet the so-called inl comm (us) sits dumbly: oh why can't you "bad" bosnians just get along?? how can they, when the criminals and bandits run the show. hello, world?? yet mesic speaks out, speaks the truth.

nor do i care how many "patriots" ding him, me, or the entire civilized world. we will continue to battle those destroyers of civilization, and purveyors of apartheid...

thank you.

First off Mesic is a pure communist
Everyone in croatia has an uncle or grandfather or someone that was Ustasa
Mesic has nothing to do with HDZ and never will

Oh yeah to those who bring up the krajina serbs, i respond with a simple answer when Serbia appoligizes to the croatian people for funding, equiping, and motivating the krajina/slavonija serbs to terrorize croats and non serbs during the war and to pay at least a percentage for the restoration of priceless churches and historical monuments, then we can talk about the krajina serbs...

Unfortunately its up to your government, to change the pace at which croatia will deal with the krajina serbs.

Remember we were offering them constant deals during the war and it was the slobo goverment that pushed them to revolt and kill, so you reap what you sowe.

Oh yeah Krajina will never be autonomous from croatia, never ever ever, kninska krajlice....

Herceg-Bosna belongs in croatia as does RS to serbia. The bosnians in my opinion shouldnt have anything because they are serbian and croatian people that are muslims, there land belongs to serbia and croatia respectively

Kosovo and Muslim Bosnia are illegal and products of past wars with Turkey, plain and simple

Aside from the Kosovo talk thats been mentioned. Here's a few more contradictions and paradoxes with this man:
- By the same logic he uses to say Bosnian Serbs homeland is Bosnia, his was Yugoslavia and he was more then happy to subvert and destroy it.
- He presents himself as a regional leader but he did all he could while he was SFRY present to destroy the state, famously teeling the Croatian parliament "My job is done Yugoslavia is no more" to a standing ovation.
- He was part of Tudjmans government which sought to detach Croat area of Bosnia to Croatia. He only quit once Tudjman under US pressure agreed to the Bosniak-Croat federation during the war.
- The post-Tudjman government removed the right to vote for representatives in Croatia by Bosnian Croats. Mesic opposed this measure and said he was glad when HDZ reversed it a few years later.
- I find it a paradox that a man whose family (most famouly his uncle) were Ustasha soldiers (his uncle being a commander) is trying to give advice from a Serbia.
- It's also a sick joke that as a condition to interview him jounralists can not bring uop the subject of his Ustasha relatives.
- It's also a sick joke that he condemned Draskovic who visited Ravna Gora while FM, but Mesic codnemend no Croat govenrment official for attending the annual Ustasha fest in Bleiburg, Austria.
- This man has on several occasions in the 90s talked fondly of the Ustasha. He tries to present himself as a man of peace.

Anyways. Mesic is president for only a few more months. So he's decide to leave the stupidest statements for last. Hopefully the next president isn't an idiot.

How the Hell is Mesic even taken seriously in Croatia? He kind of reminds me of that little kid who was marginalized at the playground, and in order to get attention, he squeals to the nearest adult that the other children aren't playing fair. I mean what kind of nonsense is it when he accuses Dodik of trying to push for a separate Croat entity, that he can somehow "dominate"? What has he done as President of Croatia to re-integrate those returnees and protect them from physical violence? Why didn't Mesic speak out against Croatian succession?, Slovenia? the ludricrous Bosnian vote where 34% of Serbs didn't want to be split from Yugoslavia? These events presumably promoted regional stability s as did his decision to recognise Kosovo? Why didn't he suggest they regard Serbia as their home and borders can't be changed? How the Hell is Mesic even taken seriously in Croatia? He kind of reminds me of that little kid who was marginalized at the playground, and in order to get attention, he squeals to the nearest adult that the other children aren't playing fair. I mean what kind of nonsense is it when he accuses Dodik of trying to push for a separate Croat entity, that he can somehow "dominate"? His logic follows the same train as some of our more nationalistic posters here.

Internal borders of Yugoslavia were drawn in a way that as much as possible no ethnicity would have a large state.

Thus,

Serbs were divided in Bosnia and part in Croatia.

Croats part in Bosnia.

Albanians, in Kosova, part in Macedonia, part in Montenegro and part in south-Serbia.

Bosnians part in Montenegro part in Serbia (Sandzak).

Now if Serbia wants to reunite her own people in her own state for me that's fine.

But it should not steal others land and people.

If you want R. Srpska form Bosnia- you should give back Sandzak.

If you want north-Kosova- you should give back Presheva, Medvega, Bujanovac.

Or behave as Croats and Albanians.

Croats: OK to unitarian Bosnia.

Albanians: OK to unitarian Macedonia and Montenegro.

And finally BUT not for IMPORTANCE.

Both of these nations Croats and Albanians do not need the ethnic cleansing in order to take her land and people in Bosnia or Serbia-Macedonia-MN respectively.

Both of them live in compact territory and are the absolute majority there.

Serbs for their life style do not live in a compact territory thus NEED desperately to clean ethnically the land that they want- steal.

Finally as for Bosnia: it should make an offer of giving up R. Srpska and demand back the eastern Bosnia where the genocide on the innocent Bosnian population occurred (that is Srebrenica/Foca) and of course SANDZAK.

Federacija is the black hole here. It needs to start co-operating more with Serbia if it wants to survive. However, should the Croatians ever wish to join Croatia it will need to put Krajina on the negotiating table.

Vojvodina independent? Are you serious...like that would happen. Hungarians make up 5.24% of its capital Novi Sad, and 14.28% of all Vojvidina (290,207 people). You think a majority serb populated area would leave serbia?

side note, isn't Mesic's wife serbian?

Is Mesic under the impression that making such comments might get Croatia into the EU more quickly? If they cleaned up their criminals like Serbia is doing then that would help much more as it is Croatia's outstanding issue, along with the treatment of 'minorities'...

Any traces of lobotomy done? No? Usually, when the people starts blabbering nonsenses any GP would be in the first place seriously concerned about the well-being of sch a person and send him immediately for a brain MRI. In this case it would also save some collective embarrassment for medical professionals. After all, Mess-ic is a head of a state.

"...First off Mesic is a pure communist
Everyone in croatia has an uncle or grandfather or someone that was Ustasa
Mesic has nothing to do with HDZ and never will...

(jerko, 5 November 2009 20:25)..."

>>>Speechless... Hehe...what do we have it here now? Croatian neo-nazis coming out publicly?

All Croats do have Ustasa ancestors, as per jerko?
Well, thanks for enlightement...so we know how to act and with whom do we have to deal.

And Mesic, because "he is communist" and is not having "Ustasa ancestors" can't have anything with HDZ?

Well, thanks again...Hehe...good for HDZ sure, or other way around...

This is all one of the greatest nebulosis I managed to read on this site.

Viva la Croatia with this jerko.

(jerko, 6 November 2009 23:29)

"Croatian President Stjepan Mesić says that Serbian authorities should send a message to Serbs in Bosnia their homeland is Bosnia, and Sarajevo their capital."

Maybe mr Mesić should send message to K-Albanians, that Serbia is their homeland and Belgrade their capital??

Let me guess 4/5 of croatia is probably serbia's rightful homeland right.....

If you go by that credo Vojvodina should be hrvastka, Use to be large croats there and like 70% of bosnia....
