The Federation is bankrupt and corrupt. The Croats and Serbs in Bosnia want out. It is only a matter of time before the situation is ripe for a referendum and split. A split will require the build of military forces as a form of "insurance" against NATO involvement. Russia can also act as a deterent. At this point the Kosovo issues could be resolved with the retuen of central government. In the longer term the Bosniaks will probably see the futility of their cause and join Serbia. Krajina will be back on the agenda - the latest version of Vance-Owen plan was never implemented?

Last time Serbia "helped" Bosnia we know what happened...
(aRTa, 22 October 2009 23:51)

Everybody knows what happened, the signing of dayton agreement that puts an end to 3 years of war.
Serbia, france, UK, US, germany, Russia all signed the agreement.

Bad luck you don't remember !!

I am glad that you are pleased, since we are talking about two different countries. Each one on its own.

My friend, Kosovo is not a country. It is a province. You seem to forget everytime. Please check the facts my friend!

Jeremić also said that he was pleased with Brussels and Belgrade’s decisions to keep the issues of Kosovo status and Serbia’s EU integration as two separate processes.

What is it with you Albanian that you think you’re that important to the EU and Kosovo this and Kosova that. No body give two hoots about you. How much has the EU invested in Kosova? Why do Kosovars leave in large numbers for Germany and other EU countries?

Get real the borders will not changes and you can negotiate as much as you like. If I was you I would be very afraid because the power base is shifting – open your eyes and look at what happened in Bosnia two days ago.

"He stressed that it had been a violation of Serbia’s territorial integrity and that a protest note had been sent to Priština and Skopje"

Shouldn't Jeremiq be happy since Kosova under the demarcation agreement gained back the 2,500 hectars of land that Serbia lost to Macedonia in 2001. I thought Kosova was Serbia??

At least he sent someone a letter in Prishtina. I wonder if the PS reads: "Kosova je Srbja"

Mr. Jeremic is the foreign minister of a country that can not protect its own sovereignity. Over sixty countrie's including every neighboring country of Serbia, except Bosnia, has recognized Kosovo's independence and Macedonia is finalizing border agreements under his nose. The Serbian economy is in tatters being proped up by massive foreign loans. Serbia is aiding and abetting genocidal war criminals like Mladic. What does he have to bring to Bosnia and Herzegovina??? The Bosnian poeple know that he is only interested in helping Dodik and his cronies and don't expect anything good from him or the country he represents. It would be better for Mr. Jeremic to spend his time trying to prevent his own country being torn apart and going banckrupt then lecturing to other countries. Let Bosnian politicians and Bosnian people resolve their own affairs while the Serbian politicians and Serbian people focus on their own major problems.

I am curious to know to whom Jeremic send the protest note in Pristina. To his colleague Hyseni? If yes, this is a reckognition of Kosovo as an independent country.

Country of Bosnia i Herzegovina dose not need a another knife in the back Serbias Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremić!

Like the Muslims don't already know what Serbs and Croats want. I don't think they're inclined to ever agree to that, however, for this would mean losing their war. As far as I can see, there's nothing that's going to make them agree to it, either. It's not like the international community backs a divided Bosnia. If the Serbs and Croats wish to be leave BiH and join up with their respective motherlands, then I think they'd be forced to go to war again. NATO, despite being tied up in Afghanistan, would be all too eager to call in the airstrikes again. And why not? In the end, the Serbs were forced to abandon KiM, and as I recall, NATO suffered barely a scratch. Say what you want about the unfairness of NATO, Dayton, the US, the Hague, and so on. In the the end, it's the guys with the big guns who make the rules and decide political outcomes.

Stability in the region Mr. Jeremic can only happen if you and your Croatian counterpart work together to express what the Croats & Serbs of BiH are really thinking and that is the total seperation of BiH 3 ways. Why are we wasting valuable time with this fake state that only exists for the "Bosniaks". Croats only joined the federation because the U.S assisted with Operation Storm. Storm for Muslim-Croat federation. Why should our taxes from Hercegovina be sent to Muslim held Sarajevo. I would rather live under Tito's regime then live under the rule of the SDA.

Lets speed up "make-up" dialog and call the Referendum.

It is, after all, ultimate way of democratic expression, isn't it?
