How can you people be arguing over which country is better and which country did what. Its an article about an air show but instead you people bring politics in, it shows how many people never matured up and fight like a bunch of kids on an Internet site, if you got nothing else to do then do it in the park, don't do it here this article does not relate to Kosovo or any other EX Yu.

A) You albanians did not want to follow the democratic process. You could have thrown out milosevic in the early 1990s if you would have participated at the elections. You guys boycotted, so stop complaining.

B) Serbs were only defending themselves. It is not their problem that certain populations supported the terrorist KLA, nor is it a serbain problem that the KLA liked to provoke serbian forces to attack KLA troops in densely populated places. There is no excuse for terrorism, sorry. And lastly, NATO's intervention only made life far worse for the albanians. Most bad things that happened happened after the bombing, as a response to the bombing. You should be angry at NATO, not Serbia. NATO damaged a lot more in Kosovo than serbs did. At any rate, Kosovo is the most miserable place in all of europe... the serbs are not at fault. Maybe having less than 10 kids may be a start for things to be better.
(Lazar, 13 September 2009 03:04)

The kids are a means of survival especially if you live under Serbian terror and brutality. Many Albanian families needed boys, to protect them from Serbia, or to take care of the family in a hostile environment, many albanian families have half of their kids away around the world, a result of living under Serbia.

Albanians did not follow the democratic process, really, so Serbia did?
Read the human rights reports of the time to see what record does Serbia in treating the Albanian population.

It's always Albanians' fault, although you controlled the state, you had the power, the goverment, the institutions, the army, the police, everything.... and every other means that could have solved the problem peacefully long time ago, ....it's still albanians' fault.

Didn't albanians tried peacefully for 10 year with you? What did we get, missery? Since the autonomy was revoked, Kosovo's GDP fell by 90%, so you could figure out how Kosovo got to be the misserable place you talk about.
Milosevic was your choice not ours, and it's not the fault of albanians why your gov was filled up with criminals, and mass grave diggers as the trials in Hague can tell you.

And please save us your comments about how NATO did the killing. You didn't live there, I did, and as a kid I remember very well what kind of terror your thugs and army was capable off. And you dare talking about terrorism?

There are mass grave of albanian civilians all the way to Belgrade. NATO did that?

This brainwashing they do in Serbia is one of a kind though, i must give you that.

Thousands of civilians were slaughtered in the Balkans from Serbian forces last decade, yet plenty of Serbs still believe that they killed themselves.

Poor Roberto,

Within your hate filled daitribes you forgot about places like: Pancevo's UTVA and Vrsac Aviation Academy that has trained Balkan and International pilots for decades. The fact is, Aviation has alot of history in Serbia, almost a century now.

Sorry to break the news to you but the average Russian, or Chinese pilot does not stand a chance against us US Air force one. Why? TRAINING! See how many hours of flight each get and you see. An Serbian pilot? Hmmm..you can't even afford fuel for the Iraqi planes you "kept."

Planes are extremely expensive: Turkey, through NATO, is suppose to give Albania some 40 planes in 2010 after Israel soups them up but maintenance and fuel alone are extremely costly.
(Truth, 12 September 2009 16:57)
the TRUTH is you should kiss the ground SERBS walk on for saving over 500 american pilots in WW2,not mock SErbia for not having an airforce thanks to the nato war crime.God bless Serbia and our holy church.

Well, isn't that funny, Lenard. you are the only one here who has pointed out the obvious -- that force is part of the legacy of the JNA, which, believe it or not, was not the SERbian national force but the Yugoslav People's army (and air force) and which was stolen, or "expropriated" if you will, almost 100%, by the forces of milosevic and his willing executioners, used NOT to defend "the people" but rather to attack and mass murder them.

and does anyone realize how anti-aircraft batteries were used during the wars of the 90s? to shoot down enemy aircraft? no. they were turned at a weird, inappropriate angle, then used against civilian populations. another war crime? why yes it is, glad you asked.

planes were also used for such purposes but less so, since it wouldn't look particularly good or humane to see yugoslavian (so to speak) war planes attacking sarajevo, etc.

so yes, i am so sorry not to be celebrating this as just another innocent, fun day, and then, right directly over the area where hundreds of albanian corpses were found and exhumed, and where, perhaps, hundreds more still lie.

It is well known that Serbs always produced aircraft. Before world war two and after. We made stuff like Orao and Galeb/Jastreb. This was not stolen from anyone. This was plainly produced by Serbs for the most part.

roberto, please stop with your propaganda lies. War planes were barely used in the wars of the 1990s. We were forbidden by the west to fly any in fact.

Even worse, you accuse Serbs of using anti-aircraft weapons against civilian populations. First of all, Serbian forces had plenty of artillery. When terrorists were attacked, the things used were either thanks or artillery. Anti-aircraft artillery on the other hand is something much more precious. It is outright retarded to use anti-aircraft missiles when one can use regular shells, when dealing with enemy combatant terrorists.

You seem like a very angry person. Your anger is blinding you from reality. You need to realize that....

Serbia still designs and builds and sells its own aircraft. It may not be able to compete on equal terms with much better funded countries, but it does have a long history of expertise.

Who else out of the whole former SFRJ can claim this then?

As for the albanians spluttering half-truths out there, where is the albanian air force then? Still flying knocked of copies of soviet aircraft and equipment kindly donated by NATO.

Maybe also it wasn't the Serbs who shot down that 'stealth plane' in 1999, something no-one else has managed to do.

It looks like a good air show though. I've been to a few over the years and always come back deafend!

Basically this air show will proove once again that western pilots and western technology is superior to Russia and its satelite states.
I don't understand how Serbian DM is so proud , knowing that most of participants have bombed Serbia for 78 days.

"Represents "excellent promotion of Serbia and her aviation". Most of the aircraft were stolen from the rest of the ex Yugo Republics who paid for them and used on them by Serbia."

Leaving aside the Batajnica name where some 1100 Albanian civilians were mass buried (most women and children) Serbia has no aviation. Zero, just airplanes stolen from JNA and Iraq. These type of old planes are called widowmakers.

"A closer cooperation with friendly nations like Russia could enable serbian pilots to train their skills there in realistic war games. "

Saldy people like K-USA have nothing better to do than whimper about airshows and brag about how they're western buddies have great tools. Wow, I'm impressed...but sadly the western influence is waning and the hegemony is fading every minute. Within a few years, a new multi-polar world order will be firmly enclenched within every corner of this world. With the new constructed system, Serbia will emerge a power player slowly not only in the region, but on the world stage...slowly but surely.

A closer cooperation with friendly nations like Russia could enable serbian pilots to train their skills there in realistic war games.

A continuing cooperation with hostile occupants of serbian territory however, would further drag serbia into futile colonial wars for western hegemony in which serbia has no interest what so ever.

albanians take the cake with you inability to find something to do other than slamming SERBS.

At least Serbia has:

1. World Champs Water Polo
2. World Champs Tennis
3. World Champs Volleyball
4. European Champs Basketball
5. Gorgeous Women

In case some have forgotten, Serbia is the only country to have shot down an F-117 stealth fighter/bomber. Not bad for a 3rd rate power.

Oh ya, we did our own fighting, albanians need the germans, turks, or the americans to do theirs...that's what most would call cowards!

Roberto, you are showing your contempt and hate towardst anything Serbian more and more by the day.

Sure, Serbia cannot match the US in airpower but who can? How many countries out there can?
Albania cannot match Serbia with conventional arsenal so I can't see how Albanians of all people can mock Serbia.
When you can stand on your own two feet you can talk.

Well, isn't that funny, Lenard. you are the only one here who has pointed out the obvious -- that force is part of the legacy of the JNA, which, believe it or not, was not the SERbian national force but the Yugoslav People's army (and air force) and which was stolen, or "expropriated" if you will, almost 100%, by the forces of milosevic and his willing executioners, used NOT to defend "the people" but rather to attack and mass murder them.

and does anyone realize how anti-aircraft batteries were used during the wars of the 90s? to shoot down enemy aircraft? no. they were turned at a weird, inappropriate angle, then used against civilian populations. another war crime? why yes it is, glad you asked.

planes were also used for such purposes but less so, since it wouldn't look particularly good or humane to see yugoslavian (so to speak) war planes attacking sarajevo, etc.

so yes, i am so sorry not to be celebrating this as just another innocent, fun day, and then, right directly over the area where hundreds of albanian corpses were found and exhumed, and where, perhaps, hundreds more still lie.

thank you, lenard. as always, i am

maybe you remember the hundreds of young yugoslavian conscripts killed and set on fire in sarajevo when they were guaranteed safe passage by itzebegovic.save the propagada for the yanks and brits.

Yes, many countries were involved in bombing Serbia. Many of these countries were also alies with the Serbs during WW1 and 2. It doesn't help Serbia to hold a grudge against these people. Life goes on and the past is gone and we need to look to the future and make sure there will be no more wars and missery for out peoples.
Enver died years ago and Albania is still strugling to maintain the rule of law. For example, family feuds take place on a daily basis. Something like this says a lot about a country.

Lazar

pre 16 godina

Poor Roberto,

Within your hate filled daitribes you forgot about places like: Pancevo's UTVA and Vrsac Aviation Academy that has trained Balkan and International pilots for decades. The fact is, Aviation has alot of history in Serbia, almost a century now.

There is always going to be jealous people who don't have a Air force. I LOVE AIR SHOWS. I have to admit the Serbs did down a F22 no one else has LOL.
