Albanians the reason you are where you find yourselves today is because the interests of two powerful states coincide with your aspirations at the moment and that is it. Show Serbs that you can behave like responsible and honest citizens of the world while you have the power to do so. If you are too rigid and nationalistic where will you go when the artificial power source melts away and the real
And pragmatic world returns? I can guarantee that while the US and Germany may not be waiting in Kosmet for you the Serbs have all the time in the world.
After the fake negotiations that is all you have left us.In the end we Serbs will be there for you my dear Albanians even if the West forgets you WE NEVER WILL! Remember you are in someone else’s house and your demands are bigger than your reach. The very things you refused from Serbs you are now demanding we take from you? Huh

i got one question for neighbors:
would you like to help us to create same chain of commands where the living Albanians such as

1. East Kosova ( Presheva, Bujanovci, Medvegja)
2. Montenegro ( Ulqin, Tuz, Malesia, etc.)
3. fyrom North part of this fragile country
if those state countries will do same thing will for Albanians we are ready to do that and more than this,,,,

Care to wager how soon is soon? My bet is that you will end up utterly embarrassed by presuming Biden is all powerful enough change Dayton which not even Bush or Obama can!

Serbia and its representative Olivanovic are only interested only in undermining Kosova state. Kosova should establish full control of its territory will all possible means. Kosova is not short of people to defend its state.

Does this mean that you have reconized KPS as an legal instutuion of the independent state of Kosovo ? If the serbs work within KPS it means they will reconize Kosovo whethere they have it's own chain of command or not. KPS is made by the republic of Kosovo and if you work within it you live within Kosovo as a independent state.

I dont understand how a own chain of command is going to make Kosovo less independent or the serbs to feel better ?

But anyway you will never get an own chain of command in Kosovo. It is just a pathetic game Ivanovic is playing because of the 300 serbs policeofficers wich will soon be left out of work and without sallery. Now you feel the strengh of the republic of Kosovo and you should feel it good because Kosovo will allways be independent.

No way! K-Serbs are serbian citizens. And will be still serbian citizens!
If anybody cut part of Your country and create new illegal "independent" country - You need to be citizen of this new illegal country or mayby You need to be still citizen of Your country????

Our northern citizens (mainly of Serb ethnicity) should have returned to work if they want their salaries.

As for a separate chain of command from Serbs...LOL. Good luck.

Why not? They've been ignoring the same "offer" since 17 Feb 2008 with no problem. Given the unemployment rate in Kosova, there won't be any trouble in finding replacements, and the commanders won't have to worry about the new cops' allegiance.

Kosovo is not Bosnia where every etnicity have it's own President. We know what serbs have done with Bosnia and that is not going to happend in Kosovo.

In other words that separate chain of command – that, I would say, slight separation from institutions – that will enable us to work, but not to have that unpleasant feeling that we are part of institutions of an independent state," Ivanović was quoted as saying.

The KiM minister is either very naive or cleverly working under Western pressures. Serbs joining ANY of Pristina's illegal government institutions will take the Serbs down a very slippery slope, which is NOT the way to stand up and show the world that Kosovo's UDI is illegal. That is the West's "game plan"- to gradually weaken the Serbs by insisting upon recognizing their new "reality". Short term "carrots" do not produce long term peace.

Demi

I can promise you Ivanovic that it will never happend. Serbs made Bosnia an invalide state with different chain of commands. It will not happend in Kosovo. Accept that serbs are a very small minority in Kosovo and should have the right of a minority. If you refuse to accept that then move to Serbia where you can have a chain of command with your fellow people.

Kosovo is not a state where you can make shameless beginng.

Albanians in Preshevo want a separate police too and that police must report directly to Prishtina.

I don't see a problem with Serbians participating in the provincial Kosovo Police Force with our structures reporting to UNMIK while they protect Serbians and other non-Albanians. All roads lead to a functional partition anyway, in line with our more than autonomy less than independence offer with the Albanians having self rule.

Our Southern citizens (mainly of Albanian ethnicity) should not try to overstep this very generous offer. It would be far better for the temporary institutions in Pristina to start proper and realistic negotiations while the conditions for this still exist.
