The government has announced its plan for economic stability today, envisaging budget savings of EUR 1bn through more economical public administration.

To #1: Similar idiotic measures in Hungary, I guess we do not need that border.
Fuel is also up, of course. But the fat cats did not take a hit of even a single Forint. So far, Serbia acting a little bit more honest, just a tiny bit of course.

All of them are part of an era gone but they cannot jump over their own shadow.

But probably as a "gastarbajter" I have to shut up, they have enough clever(?) "I-know-it-better" foreigners without me.

So the Government will try to stimulate the ecomomy by raising fuel prices, thereby increasing production and transport costs for all manufacturers in the country, and cutting the profits of one of their few remaining assets, making it less attractive in the event that they do decide to privatise it, which, after a couple of weeks without coffee, they probably will. Way to go boys, we are impressed!
