KEK is not a humanitarin organisation, it a profitable business, therefore, whatever you spent you ought to pay for.

Lazar.

1.why dont you ask your so called minister for Kosovo why didnt he come to Kosovo this weekend.
2. Land in Prishtina Airport or enter Kosovo at any bordere crossing with Serbian apart, for 1 and 31, see what stamp you get in passport. I bet you that it is not Serbian neither UNMIK one.

Nick KS, one can not be a citizen of something that does not exist, and Kosmet does not exist as an independent state. It is Serbia. End of story. If you guys want a multiethnic society then you could start by participating in democracy - boycotting it is why Kosmet is in such a miserable economic condition. Furthermore, the albanian boycott of democracy allowed milosevic to remain in power so long, so don't be a hypocrite.

"Head of the Vučitrn District Zoran Rakić said that electricity should be paid for, but that the 7,000 Serb workers, who worked for Electric Power Industry of Serbia (EPS) until 1999, must first be reinstated to their jobs. "

Unless another Milosevic comes, it will not happen.

As for electricity: pay, like everyone does!

There is no reason whatsoever for such protest.

The people in Serb majority areas are Kosovar citizens and as such are required to pay their electricity bills. The households and business in these areas use very large amounts of electricity and don’t pay anything for it.

In order to cover its losses from non payment of bills by both Albanians and Serbs, KEK has to increase its tariff almost every year by as low as 10% and as high as 40%.

This is not fair, why should the people who pay (mostly Kosovar Albanians) be punished simply because our Government wants to keep the Serb minority pacified. If our Prime Minister or any other official wants to pay for the Serb’s electricity then he should pay from his own pocket and not from mine.

If a Serb family is in bad economic circumstances, then by all means they should receive the social benefits and the energy subsidies from the Republic of Kosova.

There are hundreds of thousands of unemployed in Kosova and there should be no exception for the Serbs.

The only way we will be able to build a multiethnic society is if everyone is truly equal, and i have absolutely no problem with that. But if Serbs get free electricity, free water and no taxes whatsoever, then you can bye bye your multiethnic society out the window.
