By domestic terrorist i mean any purpoted terrorist operating from Greece.Any terrorist giving his name to the press doesn't mean that he is who he says he is.
I have never said that politicians should send the army in.But since the security services are the tools of any state they should be allowed to their job without any political sniping.
Politicians of all persuations should start by removing the stature of University asylum from the constitution.Universities should be places of learning and not agitation.A good look at the educational systems of more advanced countries like Germany,UK and
France will help them to take that decision.
What do you mean by unrepresented classes? As far as iam concerned every eligible citizen is allowed to elect someone or get elected himself.
Hunt us later? Is that a threat?

Leonidas,

what do you mean by domestic terrorist? greek terrorists? or should greek politicans give order to military and airbomb athens suburbs.. and then a ground incursion, like in gaza?? please explain... bc this is neither possible nor fisiable with the low reputation of greek politicans at this situation in greece.. greece has some unrepresented classes of society and minorities.. it will hunt you sooner or later.

and about the weapons of Albania, thaT happend in 1997, not in 1990.. and we all know who was bihind the disintegration of the Albanian state and army..

What has the use of AK-47 assault rifles against the police got to do with student
protests? Absolutely nothing.
We all know that since the collapse of communist Albania
more than a million weapons dissappeared from Albanian military depots and a huge number of them have found its way to Greece. Some of these weapons were used in the past on criminal activities.
These attacks are designed against the very existence of the state and its about time that the goverment introduces zero tolerance and
extreme measures to deal with
the present situation.
All Greek political parties should support the goverment to get rid off the foreign or
domestic terrorist elements.

it is so naive by greeks to use diversion tactics... if greece is so good that now the foreign politics is most important to greeks... then can you see how some people are totaly deattached from the reality on the ground, the reality of the people..

what gaza or chezh president have to do with greece civil unrest? nothing.. why greeks are so interested in gaza? anything in common whith muslims palestinians?

What the EU and Gaza have to do with the violence in Greece, I really don't know!

Anyway, to answer your question about the so-called "new EU countries" being blindly pro-US and pro-Israel, I disagree with it.

Why should the opinion of some politician represent the image of an entire group of states (10-12 of them)?

To my knowledge, the so-called "older EU countries" were not "furious" at the so-called "new EU countries", rather the Arab League were furious at the Czech politician who said something controversial about the whole situation in Gaza.

I personally am very much against Israel's overly brutal use of force against the Palestinians, but I do not stand on the side of either of them as the war in the Middle East has lasted so long with so much blood on both hands, that to blame one side is wrong, especially if it is some stupid pro/anti-West or pro/anti-East allegiance, or whatever.

The police investigates the incident, but it was an isolated incident and the things now in Greece are quiet in comparison to 3 weeks ago. But I couldn't agree more with you Peter, about the insanity part.

What do you have to comment about yesterday's anouncement of the Chech Presidency of the EU that the Israelis are conducting "defence" operations in Gaza?

After this anouncement yesterday, most of the big (and smaller) EU countries were furious at the Chech Republic and the other "new comers" of the east that behave in the EU, like they would behave as one more state of the USA.

The Chech republic took advantage of the EU presidency - in order to anounce a blind support to the Israelis (to the Americans that is...), and make the EU appear divided and pro-Israeli, just for shake of the Americans?

Do you agree with me now about the characterazation of "US puppet states" I once gave, that those countries actually don't care at all about unity in the EU and behave as blind US interest promoters? Do you think they prove it everyday with their behaviour?
