Arlinda, if you are so rich in resources why aren't you exploiting them?
Are you waiting for a mining boom to start without you?

Jovan,
just remember the "we will take over Belgrade" or "USA one and only global superpower"-phrases... or the wishful thinking about the illyrian descent.
deplorable.

I don't know what kind of debate you want to have when you insult our history. I don't know where to take the conversation from there. More isults, fight? You cannot do that, especially today, breaking news, when Us-Albanian exlorer teams discovered new artifacts from the coast. Don't even go there when you don't know where you came from youself and taunt others about it. That is truly deplorable. Since you went to this topic, personally, I think Serbs have more Illyrian(Albanian) mix than they believe. Slavic yes, but the Balkan type. Why do you pretend to be something overtly superior or extremely different from Albanians? The apple doesn't fall that far from the tree. Not the same of course, but somewhat similiar, familiar. Those who live abroad, who have seen many other peoples from all over the world know how to spot Balkan faces, gestures, expressions etc. I don't understand your need to put down Albanians so much. Does the repulsion come because we are poor(er)?
Here is an interesting phenomenon, when Albanians first try to learn Russian, they are told they sound Serbo-Croatian. This leads one to belive that the Serb colons were influenced lingustically by the native population. Wouldn't it be more exciting if we found what we have in common instead of trying to dismnatle each other? We are so lucky that the Western Balkans patrimony is so rich! I think for Serbs to actively deny Illyrians(with their most authentic city Albanopolis), is an attempt to deny themselves. I think Serbs have that drive, need, pride, they always want to be the leader, at the top, the boss, in control, the best over others that sorround them. Good for you as long as you use this energy constructively in a healthy competitive form as in sports, business, arts etc. Please, know your limits though.
To Peter Sudyka,
Albanians have cash flow problems but are not poor because poor means not owning anything at all. Whereas,we own Albanian lands. Negative balances, or mortgages are alien. Whithout Kosovo, Albania is the exact size of Belgium. A 5 times less the population makes us tremendously rich in resources per head! Our heads are resources too since the largest demographic group is one of the youngest ones, the egoless, cooperative 15-29-year-olds. Albanians are rich in potential.

Given that so many(almost all) Serb youngesters and older people are given to the internet and computers, and given that so far almost all serb guys i ve known were in computer sciences, I believe that they do these things themselves. How do you know that Albanians did it just because a picture of the Kosovo flag was posted. It's no proof. Plus why would we try to harm Serbia when we just wanted to save ourselves?! It makes no sense. I think someone wants to play victim again, or use it as an excuse to hack Albanian sites. Just like Russia played dirty tricks when it came to Gerogia.
Albanians have to be very careful to thse kind of provocations.

reading their comments, in regard to the level of evaluation of facts, I continuously get the impression that our albanian friends here are 15 year-old kids by default.

Peter, looks like Blero made you feel bad and you took it all back.
He certainly posted a long response to your short one and made quite a few assumptions.
How does he know that the hackers were 15 year olds?
Does he know who did it?
Maybe you have touched a nerve as it is quite close to the truth.
The Albanians are very happy when they post similar comments and they get quite a few recommendations for them but one gets posted back in response and you have to be the world's worst.
By all means take yours back, but I think you have touched a nerve and it was deserved.

Cyber attacks aside, I think "Albanian Hackers on Rampage" would make a great title for a cheesy B-rated horror movie. Maybe we can wear those kitschy 3-D glasses too. It could be cyber-horror, or it could be blood and guts horror. Maybe make it a double feature with Valley of the Wolves, that Turkish Rambo flick. Either way, we need the title to spiral into view, a 1950s New York crowd running, and a woman screaming.
pre 17 godina
Aside from the point scoring there is a more logical reason.
A lot of these hackers don't have opportunities to work or to use their computer skills in a way they would be 'harvested' in the west.
A second issue is that of illegal software, hardware and these script kids. Put simply, its damn cheap to become a hacker in the Balkans and apart from the occasional financial gain, there is a thrill to be gotten in penetrating the security of websites. Add to that thrill the idea of penetrating websites of the 'enemy' and its a heady cocktail...
Its a pain but it is harmless compared with real pain, with which we are all too familiar in the Balkans.

Come on now Peter.
Don’t you think that your comment is very cynical?
I do.
For starters, the article mentions Kosovo hackers, why do you use this to slag Albania for.
Secondly Peter, hackers are by default 15 year old kids, not the people you just insulted.
Thirdly, the question you should ask and you did not is: Why are they attacking Serbian web sites.
And the reason why lies is in the answer to the question Peter.
I guess it is the same reason that Serbian Hackers attack Albanian sites (see comment nr 7 on http://www.b92.net/eng/news/comments.php?nav_id=52426#hrono).
I guess the difference is that “we don’t cry” when hackers attack our web sites.
What do you say to that Peter?
Personally I cannot believe that B92 is actually putting this news at all.
It is not worth the time wasted writing it.
Hacker attacks occur everyday, that is why you use firewalls and structure your Web Sites securely (see http://www.owasp.org/).
Our network administration team deals with numerous Hack Attack attempts on daily bases (from all around the world, not Serbia exclusively).
Even our telephony system (voicemail) system has seen hack attack attempts.
If you don’t want hacker attacks, structure your web site properly (or don’t have a web site).
Peter, how many times have you had to delete emails from your own mailbox as they may contain “Trojans” of some kind?
Now Peter, correlating a nation to the acts of few kids (whoever they are) is wrong.
I would not respond to this posting of yours, however since you put a similar posting in the previous “Albanian Hack Attack Case” I did.
If B92 tried to mark Albanian kids as malicious they achieved the opposite.
Every 15 year old kid will see this as a glorification of the act (just like the rebellious hippies of the 70s).

Maybe thats why Albania is so poor, because some people would rather cause problems for other countries than solving their own problems.
