Thais living along the border with Cambodia began evacuation and weapon drills on Wednesday.

Excuse moi,Thailand and the French had secretly signing the documents and agreed to the map during that period of times. Thai should not complains about the map. Many provinces that was belong to Cambodia and given to Thailand by the French illegally had not been return to Cambodia yet after the colonization. Therefore,the dispute land around Preah Vihear is Cambodia,not Thailand.

They may have statues in the Temple resembling the "feathered serpent"/quetzalcoatl. Just a hint-hint to our friend thaci (all letters small), there is some more place with some local violence to claim as his country.
Besides, he can always find someone who would claim, Pelasgians and Illyrians are among Khmers and Thais.
