Croatian soldier testifies at Storm trial

Former Croat soldier Vladimir Gojanović testified yesterday at the Hague trial of 3 Croatian generals accused of war crimes during Operation Storm in 1995.

Ratko, this testimony was not blasted over mass media because, if you watched the cross examination of this witness, you would know that serious doubt was cast on the credibility of his testimony. Based on evidence presented to him to contradict his testimony, he does not appear on any registry of any of the brigades that participated in the battles he described. At one point, the cross examination became so uncomfortable (to watch even) that the witness asked to stop and take a bathroom break. To be fair, not everybody that gets up on the stand is necessarily speaking the truth. Based on his performance during cross, I doubt there are many credible media outlets that would use this guy as a source.

I thought only Serbs committed war crimes right? Why weren't these crimes, or ANY crimes committed against Serbs blasted on mass media, like they blasted anti-Serb coverage 24/7?? The injustice is unbelievable...

I really hope the comments on this article degenerate into political bickering..

This is truely a sad story, as are most of them from 91' to '95
