Wrong done! Presidents of the countries during their visits to other countries give messages to a nation they visit through common press conference together with their counterparts of respective country. This is diplomatic scandal of Tadic!
Please, don't repeat Kosovo is Serbija - this is not realistic since 1999...
Good luck Kosovo on your own way...

Just got back from a lovely Easter weekend in Timisoara.

Bravo to Tadic for both going to Kosovo Province for Easter, and also for extending a hand, rather than rattling a saber, to its people. Though if the comments from our regular Albanian groupthinkers bears any sign, I fear his message has fallen on deaf ears among the region's ethnic majority.

Thanks for the visit Mr. President! And thanks for recognizing Kosova as an independent nation. You did that all by yourself by the simple fact that you crossed an international border to get there.

We weren't expecting such a fast recognition by Serbia itself, but you proved us wrong. Again, merci!

Tim,
How could Tadic possibly give a speech from a raised Serbian church or a monastery. There are no raised Serbian churches and monasteries. It was all Serbian propaganda and Albanians would never do such a thing. I can’t believe you would even suggest such a thing. I certainly hope you don’t suggest that he next give a speech from one of those imaginary Serbian grave sites, one of the (self)burned out Serbian homes, or from the organ transplant wing at the Pristina hospital.

I wonder has Tadic ever been to any of our monasteries in Kosovo? If he has, how could he ever put the EU in front of Kosovo? Kosovo-Metohija has always been a part of Serbia, especially spiritually, and has some of our greatest treasures in Visoki Decani, Gracanica, Pec, itd. THIS should be Tadic's number one priority- to save our rich and blessed heritage as a people- and not to worry if we "are in step" with the EU or the West. We have our own legacy- Kosovo- which is older than most other European nations- and yet these other nations desire to tear out our heart. Serbs- nedaj se!!!

Actually Mr Tadic was in Mitrovica for the Christmas celebration some two years ago. I was there at Pizza no. 1. Great palce to eat.

What a lack of invention on the part of these Serb politicians. Why not make these grand statements from the site of a razed monastary or church. The plowed field, meant to eliminate traces of its prior use, would serve as the fertile ground for a new Serb cultural revolution. How is that for a message of hope?
No, these guys are more "strong like bull, smart like tractor"

Boris pretends now to be Ghandi. Fine as a performance.
The Peace in the Balkans, however, comes mostly out of the barrel of the Gun.

Albanicum,

I think you are confused, look at the map again. It shows no international border, then oif you click the Serbia profile, the map produced includes Kosovo.

Drawing a map is one thing - children do it all the time! Making it a reality is another. Good on you Boris - keep up the pressure.

how very crude of a president to pose for pictures during the celebration of the holy easter liturgy in one of Orthodoxy's holiest shrines.

it is not right to use churches, temples, mosques and synagogues for photo opportunities and stump speeches; these are places we should be meek and humble. If this is the sort of statesmanship that Tadic offers, I am not interested in this western political drone.

Do you want to see the new Europe map in the EU official website? See..Kosovo is in the map as a separate country. Use your illusions.

It is shame he told the truth about the isolation? Independence has been declared so where are the jobs, invites to the EU etc? Now that is news to discuss not a person visiting a church.
