KFOR operates under Resolution 1244. EULEX is a mission to help Kosovo's independence, which wasn't authorized under 1244. I don't see how KFOR can legally implement the EULEX mandate. Once they step out of their mandate, KFOR is no longer a peace keeping mission.

The EU is attempting to convince the Serb minority to accept its presence in Kosovo but since this doesn't work very well they realize now that the only way to impose their illegal occupation mission on the serbian people is by the arms, as they already tried in Mitrovica.

It's time for UN to underline that it's them who legally have the power and nobody else.
The best way to do so would be to throw this guy and his staff out of the province.

I wouldn't be too concerned about what Fieth has to say. He is just a mouth at the moment with little power who is mainly keeping the Albanians happy with empty promises.

Most of what is said is wishful thinking!

Kosovo is... Srbija.
As simple as that. Srbija cannot be a military colony. As simple as that.
Your reasonning lives up to your name. Pls forget about language reforms.

"In an interview with AP, Feith said 16,000 KFOR troops should allow his staff to convince the Serbs to let them work on their territory."

Absurd. In 1999 50,000 NATO troops entered Kosovo (more then Serbia ever had in Kosovo), and how did NATO help Serbs. It didn't it allowed 200,000+ to be expelled.

"However, the EU official said that the Kosovo Serbs had shown that they “responded” to the EU’s message, which highlights “the special benefit” for minorities in the province."

Interesting that he only stated that the K-Serbs "responded" but not WHAT was the response! Another instance of convenient and misleading half-truths from the EU!

How do you think the K-Serbs responded to the EU? I will bet you my last euro NOT with joy and open arms! And who can blame them after March 2004?

For Serbs and most of the world Kosovo is not a state, Kosovo is not even a republic, well Kosovo is hardly a province anymore. I don't know what it is. I guess Americans are right in one thing, Kosovo is really a unique "something". We have to invent a new word for this "something" since it doesn't exist anywhere in the world but it does resemble a military colony.

The EU is attempting to convince the Serb minority to accept its presence in Kosovo via economic incentives that it intends to send them. What money dose not work and the Serbs are not buying nonsense or selling their souls what is the world coming to say it isn't so what is next coming for poor Brussels.

That's how it goes Mr.Feith, when you ignore the law and ignore the will of the Serbs. Now you need protection of 16.000 KFOR troopers. If you had followed the law, then you would need no troops at all.

So, to "convince" the Serbs to cooperate in NATO land-grab to this hard line serbophobe, means killing and torturize them with forces from the same aggression-pact.

Or does he mean to let NATO finnish the albanian etnic cleansing of serbs?

If this isn't entering by force I don't know what is.

"In an interview with AP, Feith said 16,000 KFOR troops should allow his staff to convince the Serbs to let them work on their territory."

What are they going to do, at gun point demand the Serbs accept this ILLEGAL puppet association.

RE:AP reports from Priština that the UN “will transfer power to Kosovo state organs in June, together with the EU, who should ensure that the Kosovo institutions respect the rights of the Serb minority.”

As the right to work for example? Todays news about the attack on Serb KPS officer shows how much desire there is in Kosovo for Serbs to stay there, work there and be part of the comunity...

And, if you are so sure everything is in order in Kosovo why do you need 16000 KFOR troops there?

Imagine what would happen to Serbs if those troops left? I mean if you just watch what is happening to them while the troops are there, just imagine what will happen with them out of Kosovo...
