This is a very good question for Mr Rehn but it is one that he can't answer - for the simple reason that the EU doesn't have a position on Serbia's territorial integrity. Several EU countries have had the guts to stand up to the "big guns" and so Rehn cannot speak for the entire EU. So he will bluff and bluster and pretend to speak with an authority that he doesn't have. Taking this to its logical conclusion, the EULEX mission has no legal standing whatsoever.

Here's a good one. Last Saturday the Colombian armed forces made an incursion into Ecuador. On Wednesday, the Organisation of American States (including the US) met to discuss this as Ecuador is very unhappy about it. Now get this. The 34-member organisation voted to "reaffirm the principle that the territory of a state is inviolable and may not be the object, even temporarily, of military occupation or of other measures of force taken by another state, directly or indirectly, on any grounds whatsoever".

The US actually signed up to this. What sickening hypocrisy!

Ahmed and friend, we're just saying Olli shouldn't be so shy all of a sudden. We'd like for him to give us the EU's opinion and no matter what it is, it's still only an opinion, not a legally binding ruling.

Don't get ahead of yourselves, the EU has no jurisdiction whatsoever in the matter of Serbia's sovereignty. The political leadership followed by some Serbian citizens of Albanian ethnicity has made a unilateral declaration that has been recognised by a handful of states out of political expediency or ignorance. Recognition by Afghanistan, or anyone else for that matter doesn't legalise the declaration.

All that counts is that Serbia doesn't agree and that's precisely why you still visit this site and still post provocative comments.

Ok now comes the real question,is Serbia going to be in the EU with Kosovo or ? ,somehow they dont have a answer, I wonder when will someone be able to answer the question to this question or will they wait and see if Serbia will kindly just give up the 15% of the Serbian territory to be a EU memeber, it bet not!

Let me say to those whom don't want to listen and understand that Kosova was lost in a war which ended 1999. Serbia lost physically the sovereignity of Kosova and in Kosova there are international military and civil forces. Kosova is an independent sovereign country recognised by the most powerfull countries in the planet. I hope that answer the question of the minister about Serbian sovereignity.

S first you ask Rehn to say whether Kosova is Serbia and then you say " no matter the answer is Kosova is Serbia". Were do you serbs find these people.
