Macedonia reopens war crimes cases

Albanians need to accept that they too
are responsible for their actions! These were war crimes, well documented by the Macedonian authorities. Albanians should enter the 21st C. and realize that not everything begins and ends at the barrel of a gun!! A first step would be to put aside their inferiority complex, and make overtures of friendship toward their neighbors, instead of responding with provocation and threat at every opportunity!!!

bmrusila, why don't we apply the Ahtisaari plan to Macedonia? The Macedonian-Albanians would loveeeeeeeeee the power and freedom they would get. Think about it, official language, documents in Albanian, decentralization, Albanian police, army, twice the representation in congress/parliament.

This is the main problem with the Albanians, they never prosecute their criminals but rather cherish them. Perhaps, the next step will be accusing Macedonians of oppression against poor and always jeopardized Albanians. After oppression of course the next we will hear are the atrocities against poor and unprotected Albanians.

And Ermira Mehmeti so brilliantly concluded that if Hague said there were no crimes against humanity that means case closed without any wish to prosecute those criminals that killed hundreds of civilians and police officers. No, that is not crime and does not need to be legally processed.

You already did, it's called ANA. Thankfully Macedonia's special forces dealt with these terrorists and NATO did not support ANA either (even though they invited them to adminster the Albanian regions, hoping that the same would be for them as for Kosovo, but they were rejected). There will not be a third Albanian state because nobody will support it. Not even the US.

What arguments do the ethnic Albanians in Macedonia have to being separate from them? Macedonians never did anything wrong to them, so your demands will fall on deaf ears like in 2001.

These crimes include torture, sexual molestation, murder, the blocking of water supply of whole cities; how about amnesty for the victims? Not possible huh? Then so should Albanian terrorism be punished! Albanians have been coddled by the West for so long that they've forgotten basic human decency!

Once again, Peter, what qualfies you to make such an iresponsible determination with "Macedonia has never did any wrong to the Albanians"? Everyone know the true Albanian percentage is much greater than 22-25% of the official estimates.Don't you see why we have an issue with being under represented? You might not personly care for Albanian ligitimate demands for equal rights, but I expect you to show some reasoning and understanding of the situation without jumping to the "terrorist" name calling the slavs are know for.If the Slavic "Macedonians" fulfill their end of the agreement of 2001, we can all live in peace and harmony.Albanians never origanily fought for seperation,unlike the Serbs in Bosnia.We demand quality by the government.Can you understand that? Or is that too much for you to comprehend?Discrimination in education,governnment hiring(civil service),justice system,infustructure,so forth and so on.....They eventualy will be faced with two viable option-we get qual rights, equal treatment and are made rightfull coalition partners treated the same -no better -certain not worse or we will have instabilty and EU and NATO membership will be delayed until they co-operate with their partners,the Albanians.
