Would Serbia benefit at this time if its security services were the cause of perceived instability? Not only that, but the UCPMB set up bases in the demilitarized zone, where attacks on Serbian civilians became so bad that NATO had to give Serbia permission to militarize the zone to protect their own citizens in their own country!
Sorry for my impartiality in this issue against the Albanians, but here is the situation: Serbia is about to lose Kosovo based on ethnic division, outside of the UNSC, you have this region with its recent history that wants to join Kosovo, people don't think Serbia will want to secure the region? Suppose the Serbs North of the Ibar will want to separate from Kosovo and join Serbia, I suppose the Kosovo Albanians will not want to militarize the region and prevent tension after 10 Dec?
I hope the international community sees this as no more than a provocation and looks to deal with the more serious issue at hand: namely the Kosovo status issue.
