It is truly an amazing and mind-blowing situation that exists in this country: politicians are treated like rock stars by the media (admittedly there seems to be a distinct lack of actual rock stars - I mean, based on the radio playlist of this very network at least) and then, without exception, they develop monumental egos. This is phenomenal, someone should start a PhD to uncover the link.

The truth is that the politicians AND the media here are all pathetic. Ethical standards are non-existent in both realms, and the notion of "serving the people," means only "serving the RIGHT people." B92 may purport to be more credible than its competitors, but you are a lazy institution which is more a part of the problem here than any reasonable solution to the fact that the politicians here are contemptible. You can defend yourself all you want, but every second time I flick past your station I see either Big Brother or else some other, equally inane piece of televisual garbage.

The bit that is most appalling is that the average people of Serbia, and by that I mean those who ride the bus or work in some part-time job to support a course of study (in which they attempt to pass their exams through actual study) or otherwise work like mad while being paid a disgustingly inadequate salary - indeed, let's just say all people who regard the political sphere with the deserved abject disdain - are some of the nicest people you could ever care to meet anywhere. It is unfortunate that the "elites" living in this country - and in this category I include not only Serbs but also all members of the diplomatic community - are distinct from these people most markedly because they are not worthy of being associated with them.

Gordan!?! Secret service!?! So all those cooking tips I've given him we're actually ending up in the kitchens of the Serbian Secret Service! I've had the lamb pulled over my eyes! Thank god I've been funnelling Serbian recipes to the Canadian and Polish secret services all these years... Ha Gordan! Beat you at your own game!

Dont write Ceda off yet. I dont support him personally but before he went too far yesterday he did a very clever thing; go up against Miskovic.

Its a very comfortable position to be in when Miskovic is making so many new enemies and making so many mistakes.

Ceda's mistake, as I said, was to go too far yesterday but it remains to be seen whether this damage is fatal or not.

Perhaps the lesson to the democratic block is that they can (and must) stand up to Miskovic and there is political mileage in doing so.

This is a sign of the end of LDP. Yesterday I read in Blic that over 200 people in the Novi Sad area left the party.

The end to the LDP and the end of Cedmoir Jovanovic's careers are good signs for Serbia's politics. If only the same could happen to Kostunica, G-17+, Nikolic and Ilic.

LDP is the party without any real strategy and quality progaramme. I think that b92 should investigate more the activites of the LDP leader Cedomir Jovanovic. I don't know why but I just believe in gossips related to his strong ties with criminals and even that he has something to do with Premier Djindjic's murder. Journalist could finally explore this accusations.

LDP seem to have totally lost it.

Expect the in-fighting to erupt next as the more sane members wonder what on earth is happening while the others in the memebership seem to be adding even more fuel to their self made funeral pyre.

"Luković has turned to calling B92 journalists cretins, madmen and weirdos."

Yes, and? All the best writers and media people are. And in terms of news, it usually means that you're doing the job right when politicians have a pop like this.

Good luck standing up to such full on attacks!

BTW, does he hate women, or is it just a concidence that his targets seem to mostly be female?
