BRUSSELS Belgrade and Pristina have continue a key phase in their dialogue in Brussels on Monday, with ministers discussing electric energy and telecommunications. The week will be marked by a series of intensive talks between working groups, while Ivica Dacic and Hashim Thaci are expected to meet on June 20. Belgrade and Pristina continue talks in Brussels The Serbian team for the telecommunications and energy talks is led by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Telecommunications Rasim Ljajic and Energy Minister Zorana Mihajlovic. In an interview for Novi Sad based daily Dnevnik, Ljajic said the Belgrade team will propose a new compromise solution in the area of telecommunications. After the last round of dialogue, he told reporters in Brussels that the two delegations failed to bridge their differences when it comes to an international calling code for Kosovo and licenses for mobile network operators in Serb majority municipalities. Expert-level talks on the judiciary, taking place simultaneously, will focus on an amnesty law which Pristina is expected to pass and which should absolve members of Serbian judicial and security structures who will be integrated into the Kosovo system as part of the future community of Serb municipalities, in line with the Brussels agreement. Without this law, Serb police officers, judges and prosecutors could be prosecuted for their past work if it was in violation of Kosovo law. Head of the Serbian negotiating team and advisor to the president Marko Djuric said after several days of talks on the issue last week that a deal was not struck. The Serbian team for the telecommunications and energy talks is led by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Telecommunications Rasim Ljajić and Energy Minister Zorana Mihajlović.

In an interview for Novi Sad based daily Dnevnik, Ljajić said the Belgrade team will propose a new compromise solution in the area of telecommunications.
