The menu contains illustrations of practically every dish on offer – this, combined with the snappish waiter, made us choose quickly and refrain from too many questions. Noting that the three main courses we ordered arrived 5 minutes apart (only one chef), we have to say that all were impressive, both in quality and quantity. The thinly sliced chicken fillet with bamboo was excellent with its ginger-like aroma, but even better was the beef served on a hot steel plate (with an abundance of onions, black pepper and sauce). Wild leeks with black Chinese mushrooms proved to be a tender and compact dish, going well with a portion of plain white rice. Our only complaint is directed to the similarity of the sauces. Otherwise, the food was truly good. Meal for two: approx. 1,800 dinars. Quan Yu De is one of the newer Chinese restaurants in Belgrade, open about a year ago.
