Guests of Pizza Hut know to expect constant additions to the menu and various happy hours which urge you to eat more and pay less. Before the pizzas which arrive in approx. 10 minutes, you can try the good garlic bread, thick and dry, with garlic and basil and extra virgin olive oil. The 20 or so different types of pizzas on offer include everything from classic Italy to exotic Hawaii and meaty Serbia, then you choose the size (S, M, L), and finally the type of dough (thin or airy). We decided to try the air farmhouse which reminded us of the first pizzas we tried, airy and thick in the crust department. After that, we had a go at the spicy hot version with a thin crust, a deadly hot combination of chili peppers, fresh tomatoes and large onion rings, and finally the Serbian classic with beef, smoked ham and bacon. A large slice of chocolate cream cake came as dessert and a good ending to the story of how America views Italian cuisine. Meal for two: 1,500 dinars. The first and still only Serbian link in the world’s greatest pizza chain has, during the five years it has been welcoming guests, kept to its high standards in cleanliness, service and quality.
