Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic met in Davos Thursday with European Commission’s First Vice-President President Frans Timmermans.

EC official "supports Serbia's EU path"

According to a release from the Serbian government's media relations office, Vucic and Timmermans met on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in the Swiss ski resort and discussed Serbia's achievements and issues facing it on its European path.

The Serbian prime minister thanked the EC vice-president for great support for Serbia’s agenda, for the great assistance coming from the European Union during the floods of 2014, and for the support for Serbia’s agriculture and its economy as a whole.

Prime Minister Vucic extended an invitation to Timmermans to visit Belgrade, which the vice-president of the European Commission accepted with pleasure, the release said.
