Chinese companies interested in industry, spas

Chinese companies have sent 18 letters of interest related to the sale of 11 Serbian companies that include agricultural and industrial enterprises.

Chinese companies interested in industry, spas

China National Electric Engineering Technology Corporation Ltd. is interested in the privatization of both tractor manufacturers located in Belgrade, IMT and IMR.

Three Serbian companies are interesting to two Chinese companies each. For example, Shandong Wanbao Group and Shandong Art Agriculture are interested in Backa a.d.

The agricultural company "7 Juli" attracted interest from the same two companies. Shangfdong Wanbao Group is interested also in PIK Zemun, while Shandong Art Agriculture is also interested in Budimka from Pozega and Granicar from Gakovo.

Sinoma International Engineering and China Glass Holdings are interested in the glass company Industrija stakla Pancevo, while Beiqi Foton Motor and Anhui Jianghuai Automobil are interested in Zastava kamioni.

Hiamen Golden Dragon Bus in interested in Zastava Special Cars Sombor, while Sinohydro corporation might buy the Resavica coal mining company.

One Chinese company, Breshington Ltd. China is interested in buying three spas in Serbia, Ribarska, Niska, and Sokobanja.

Serbia's Minister of Energy Aleksandar Antic said earlier that Chinese companies were interested in buying 14. oktobar from Krusevac and Prva Petoletka from Trstenik, but that no letters of interest from those companies had been received.
