Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić met on Friday with the delegation of German parliament's Committee on Economic Cooperation and Development.

Serbia "factor of regional stability"

Vučić informed the German parliamentarians about the reforms the government is implementing.

They "pointed to the importance of regional infrastructure projects such as the Belgrade-Sarajevo railway, Belgrade-Bar railway and the Niš-Priština highway."

During the meeting, Vučić and the German delegation "stressed the importance of the presence of German companies in Serbia and the possibilities for further investments in a more favourable business environment which the Serbian government is striving to create."

The guests "commended the Serbian prime minister's initiative for setting up the youth union, the activities of which would significantly contribute to stability in all social areas and regional reconciliation."

At the end of the meeting, the prime minister and the German MPs agreed that Serbia "has achieved visible progress in the European integration process."
