"Record crop of marijuana" found in southeast
The police in the town of Surdulica, southeastern Serbia, have found and destroyed "a record crop of marijuana" from a man and his son-in-law.

The suspects, 54-year-old Zoran A., and his 39-year-old son-in-law Dragiša S., farmed the plants in the village of Topli Do, about a kilometer away from the Rosa mineral water factory.According to the police, Zoran A. is the owner of the field where the marijuana plants were found. In addition, he was found in possession of "18 automatic rifle bullets."
Sources with knowledge of the illegal drug market in the nearby town of Vranje believe that this was "a record amount" of drugs seized in southern Serbia.
