Zorana Mihajlović has said that Serbia is in a difficult position, because the country wants to have partners "both in East and in West."

Serbia is in difficult position, says minister

Mihajlović told TV Pink on Friday said she expects Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić to address the public and "above all, explain the situation" in his news conference announced for midday.

She stressed that "the most important thing for Serbia is above all economic development - we must break free from the economic bottom," while "a wise policy of the government and the prime minister can help us get through everything that is here now and what is ahead of us without serious consequences."

Mihajlović also believes it is important for Serbia to have a stable government and a stable political situation, "so it knows where it's going and what its goal is."

"Our goal is to for citizens of Serbia to live better," she explained.
