“The Russian side is interested in all of our agricultural and food products, particularly in meat, milk, processed meat and milk products, and fruits and vegetables and we could also export as much cheese as we can produce,” she said.

The minister pointed out that the expected volume of exports would not affect domestic prices.

In this context, she stressed the need to encourage production in small enterprises, saying it was "a great chance for Serbian agriculture."

Commenting on the damages caused to yields by the massive flooding that hit Serbia in May, Bogosavljević-Bošković said that the damage was enormous, but fortunately, some parts of the country had been spared and good production was expected there.

“The estimated damages to yields alone amount to more than RSD 9 billion. Destroyed equipment and facilities also need be added to the sum. We were able to re-sow part of the arable land, about 22,000 hectares. We have received donations in seeds for 16,000 hectares,” the minister said.
