A complaint was filed against Milović by former Deputy Director of the BIA Dragan Marković Markoni, and according to a report in the newspaper Politika, he is suspected of hiring "a person with a criminal record to follow state officials."

The daily adds that this concerned the hiring of Milutin Marković Puta, a man associated with Dragoslav Kosmajac, to allegeldy follow Markoni during one of his trips to Vienna.

According to Politika, this happened in late 2010, as did "an exchange of information carried out in a Belgrade restaurant a month later."

Reportedly, Kosmajac - whom Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić described as "the biggest narco-boss in Serbia" as he announced the sacking of Milović - was also present at that meeting.

Milović was dismissed last month along with four other heads of MUP departments.

Markoni previously left his BIA job on his own request, after he found himself in the spotlight in connection to a corruption case. According to the newspaper, he is now an advisor to the BIA director.
