Interior ministries of Serbia, Germany and France set up a working group in Belgrade on Tuesday to deal with a number of issues.

Serbian, German and French ministries set up working group
The working group was formed during a visit to Serbia by the Interior Ministers of Germany and France, Thomas de Maiziere and Bernard Cazeneuve, with whom Vučić had talks in Belgrade.The meeting also touched on the opening of EU acquis Chapters 23 - judiciary and fundamental rights - and 24 - justice, freedom and security- Vučić told a joint press conference following the meeting.
He pointed out that the two were the most serious chapters for all countries aspiring to EU membership, and Serbia was sure to deal with those the longest.
These are the chapters that are first opened and last closed, Vučić said, voicing the belief that those and all other issues in the negotiations would be resolved “thanks to the support from friends.”
He expressed the hope that September would see "the German Bundestag adopt the position that Serbia was a safe country."
Joint activities that would significantly help solving the problem of false asylum seekers faced by Serbia would follow, the prime minister said.
Vučić said that he and the interior ministers of Germany and France had discussed ways to improve the position of certain communities, especially Roma.
"We also discussed management of natural disasters," Vučić said, adding that he had told the two ministers that Serbia had faced fires, earthquakes and floods over the last few years.
"Since Germany and France have a sufficient number of firefighters – Germany has as many as one million – we will attempt to establish cooperation in that area," he said.
The prime minister thanked de Maiziere and Cazeneuve for the friendship shown for Serbia everywhere. “I am grateful to them for not deceiving us but rather pointing to problems and being willing to help us,” Vučić said.
