The new Serbian parliament will have six deputy speakers - two of whom will come from the Serb Progressive Party (SNS).

Serbian parliament to have six deputy speakers

The SNS candidates are Veroljub Arsić and IgorBečić , who should be elected during Wednesday's session, Tanjug has learned in the Serbian parliament.

Representing the DS as one of the deputy speakers will be Gordana Čomić, who occupied the post during the previous parliament.

The NDS and the SDPS have named Ninoslav Stojadinović and Vladimir Marinković as their candidates, with Konstantin Arsenović, also one of the former deputy speakers, named by the PUPS.

Maja Gojković of the SNS is the sole candidate for the post of parliament speaker.
