The office called on the international community to condemn Priština's move and "finally do what they are mandated to do" so that Vulin could travel to the province freely.

Vulin was supposed to visit Kosovo at the invitation of RTK 2, a television channel broadcasting program in Serbian and minority languages in Kosovo, to speak at the television’s office in Priština on the topic of one year since the agreement on normalization of relations between Belgrade and Priština, initialed in Brussels on April 19, 2013.

“Priština’s negative decision contributes neither to the implementation of the Brussels agreement, nor to mutual trust, nor to the vitally important normalization of relations between Belgrade and Priština, unlike the efforts made by the Serbian government and the minister in charge,” the release said.

Another reason for the minister’s visit to RTK 2 is to address the Serbs in Kosovo and congratulate them the upcoming Orthodox Easter.

Priština yesterday rejected the request by Vulin for a two-day visit to the province. He planned to travel to the villages of Donja Budriga near Gnjilane and Rajanovci in the municipality of Kosovska Kamenica and deliver aid to two Serbian families on the occasion of the holiday.
