"Vučić to present govt. program to party on Saturday"

Members of the SNS presidency will authorize party leader Vučić to officially launch inter-party talks next week concerning the constitution of the new government.

In this context, an offer will be made to the Alliance of Vojvodina Hungarians, the Belgrade-based daily Večernje Novosti said on Tuesday.

The key political dilemma which has not been resolved yet is whether the government will include the seats for the Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS) led by Ivica Dačić or for the New Democratic Party (NDS) headed by Boris Tadić which are expecting the invitation for consultations.

In the first round of talks, the future prime minister is expected to invite representatives of all parliamentary parties and present to them the program principles of the new cabinet.

Vučić will call on political forces in the country to gather around the program but the ministerial team will comprise mainly non-party experts, Večernje Novosti reported.

The coalition gathered around the SNS scored a convincing victory in the early parliamentary elections on March 16 and won 48.35 percent of votes and 158 MP seats.

This means that the party can constitute the government on its own but SNS leader Vučić announced that he will try to include all parties in the ruling coalition which are willing to implement its program, including independent experts.
