PRISTINA The authorities in Pristina on Friday denied reports in the local media that Myanmar had recognized Kosovo. Asked by the koha.net website, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Pristina said they received no "official recognition note" from that country. The Albanian language media previously said that the Kosovo Ministry of Foreign Affairs was notified of Myanmar's recognition. They quoted the alleged note as saying that a Kosovo deputy PM who traveled to the Asian country in December "presented convincing arguments why Kosovo should be independent."
