"Allegations about wiretapping to be investigated"
PM Ivica Dačić stated on Tuesday that the allegations about wiretapping Serbian President Tomislav Nikolić should be investigated.

BELGRADE PM Ivica Dacic stated on Tuesday that the allegations about wiretapping Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic should be investigated. First Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic said that all services in this and similar cases will do their job. "Allegations about wiretapping to be investigated" “We are considering all allegations including the ones that refer to the president of the republic,” Dacic said answering a reporter's question about the president's statement on Monday evening that he is being wiretapped. “All security bodies, including police and security services, are tasked with protecting the president, rather than tapping him. If there is any abuse of powers by anyone in the system, this should certainly be a subject to investigations and sanctions,” Dacic said. The competent services succeeded earlier to uncover a number of offences and attempts at breaking into the protected system and the president was informed about that, Vucic said, adding that all allegations will be investigated. “We will do our job,” Vucic said.
