Hospital in Bosnia receives donation from B92 campaign

Representatives of the B92 Fund and Gazprom in Bosnia-Herzegovina on Monday handed over a valuable donation to the General Hospital in Prijedor.

PRIJEDOR Representatives of the B92 Fund and Gazprom in Bosnia-Herzegovina on Monday handed over a valuable donation to the General Hospital in Prijedor. This donation, consisting of medical equipment, came on the heels of the one delivered to the Cantonal Hospital in Bihac, and increased the overall value of the Battle for the Babies campaign donations made in Bosnia-Herzegovina to over EUR 550,000. Hospital in Bosnia receives donation from B92 campaign Gazprom contributed to the wider campaign to assist maternity wards in Bosnia-Herzegovina with EUR 30,000. The Prijedor hospital received a transcutaneous bilirubinometer, a patient monitor, two neonatal aspirators, and two infusion pumps. (B92) The hospital also received the latest model of a transport baby incubator - one of the two that it received from the campaign. This equipment was purchased via text message donations made by subscribers of the m:tel mobile operator. On behalf of the hospital, the ceremony was addressed by Director Dr. Mirko Sovilj, while Gazprom was represented by Financial Director of the Retail Network Srsan Pesevic. B92's Veran Matic also addressed those gathered, stressing that while a lot had been achieved in the campaign, much remained to be done, in the Prijedor hospital and in other towns.
